Dana is one of the best late game managers in college basketball.

I would not be so sure on the public relations front. Though it might not mesh with the Eugene vibe an obvious effort was made to present the family dressed up and respectful. Projecting enthusiasm and passion Lanning came off well. It is hoped and expected there will be no more clock management problems. All the portal transfers will give him an opportunity to shine even though he has very few days to solidify the recruiting class.
