Here we are my Duck-Buddies, the thread for pondering the actual game as it happens.  Let's discuss before, and during the game!

The vast majority of you are GREAT in this thread, but you must remember that this forum is different, as we require civilized discourse. Discussion of negative is fine, but don't vent on us!

Rule No. 31d covers GameDay Thread Conduct, and it is not hard for the vast majority of us--just a tiny few who need to reign it in when things don't go well for Our Beloved Ducks.

Let's Have Fun Posting During the Game!

These videos Oregon is putting out this year are playing to The Standard. Keep them coming... Epic!

Wow—Bryce Boetcher is a captain this game.

Give that man a scholarship already!

Not great but only surrendered 3.

Is it just my Pac-12 network or is everyone else’s commentators about 3 seconds ahead of the video? SMH

Haven't noticed

No, but I can hear Jerry & Jorgy on radio about 18-19 secs ahead of TV action.

Not starting well.

Defense is a step slow right now.

Nice blitz and sack by Kyhree!

Is it illegal for Oregon to play well against The Tree?

How has Stanford had the ball for effectively the entire quarter???

As we feared, Oregon came out flat...

Get the sack then give up the first. Not a good look.

Maybe a little emotional hangover from the last game.

Defense is resuming their old bad habit of not getting off the field on 3rd down.

 A David Shaw quarter?

We may come to the end of the 1st quarter with Ducks having the ball for 3 plays.

Oregon looks like crap

K. Jackson walking it out here on the sideline. Walking very gingerly, favoring hip.

Hopefully he's ok

Oregon possession time:  1:23

Stanford:  13:37

Stanford:  107 yds

Oregon: 6

Two 3 am outs. Yikes

I'm ready to never play Stanford again.

That was a huge hit by Williams

Defense got a good stop. Now the offense needs to shake off the cobwebs and execute.

3 sacks 5 tfl. Gotta turn this around. Lets go Ducks

Time to get going. Lets see some Bucky and Jordan James.

Much better execution

Nice job offense!

Things opened up once Nix pulled the ball a couple times.

I didn't think this Lanning team could come out so flat. But then, I often forget that these are just a bunch of young men. Glad that the defense and offense look like they're starting to turn it up to 11.

Line opened up some holes finally. Result- touchdown Oregon

Ok. Oregon speed on the edge. Hopefully that will be the drive that breaks loose the dam. But that first 20 minutes was sure ugly offensively. D might keep us in this.

A little more energy finally on the Duck sideline; even a few smiles. Team has seemed tight and lethargic. Definitely need to rid some demons in this place.

The Oregon crowd is getting in it now...

Hearing the "let's go Ducks" chant on the TV now.

Fans at Stanford, make this game a home game now!

You gotta call time out much soone Dan

For Lewis third time is not the charm

Should have had 15 more seconds but Dan was late getting that time out.

3 sacks 7 tfl. Ducks in pretty good shape considering the start

That sack by Evan Williams was violent, my Good Gosh

Well that was mo'bettah. Nice fake into the line and perfect pass to TFerg taking advantage of his size. Win the middle 8.

Franklin

Oregon is playing good solid football, and its needed because Stanford has played very well, extremely disciplined. I am almost more impressed with this kind of football. They never looked like they were playing bad. Stanford looked very well prepared

Defense did a nice job of making adjustments and settling down after the first quarter, and the offense was very business like.

I’d like to see 2 more TDs just to bury them and really put this game away.

Troy Franklin ove 100 rec again. 2 td.

Bo Nix with another ho-hum 85% completion %, 250+ yards and 3 TDs (after 3 quarters)…

After seemingly sleepwalking through the 1st quarter, it's basically been all Ducks.

But let's hope we don't show up like that next week in Seattle, because that would not at all be rewarded.
