Lets get these predictions started today and remember I look for the spread with then the closest score that has the spread correct. The data I need from you is:  (entries without all the information are invalid, and predictions on other threads don't count as I am not going to hunt them all down)

--the winner

--the score, and the tiebreaker information needed from each of you is...

--the amount of turnovers Oregon creates

--the number of sacks Oregon records on the opposing team

--the number of passing yards. 

 

My guess is:  Oregon 38-16, 3, 4, 270

 

Note to all: GameDay threads seem to remove the filters we have within us during the week.  Writing negative about the Ducks on GameDay is fine, (as we write about negative every day here) but let's not be venting on fellow Duck fans. There is a difference and I think most of you know when it is.  Hopefully that won't be an issue this week!

--the number of passing yards. AB with 180 yds. TT with 150 yds and Butter with 90 yds, total 420 yds! Ty Thompson looks downright spooky for the opposition and AB with Halloween the next day! My prediction Ty takes over with a lead and boat races the buffs!

Ty and Jay both play a lot in the second half.  We shut down their RB's and force throws, hence picks and sacks.  We run plenty, so total rushing yards for us a lot, not so much passing although we'll do better than average.  Landman out won't help the Puffaloes.

 Hope AB kicks butt and we're up 42-0 at the half so Ty and Butter get lots of reps

So....the consensus so far is that this game could help our defensive "points allowed" average to get lower!

 

I'm not going to take a guess, but I'm not going to panic if CO marches down and scores a TD in the 1st qtr. It can happen to the best Ds at all levels.

 

I think MC's players over the years do a great job of not letting pressure keep them from coming back and playing well.

 

Once the Ducks get in the groove and I hope on the first series, they will keep the pressure on.

 

Let's get some Freshmen good reps Saturday!

AB passes for 209 yards and sits midway through the 3rd quarter. Ty takes over and throws for about 150 and a pair of TDs. He would throw and score more but the ball stays on the ground for the last half of the 4th quarter (Classic Cristobal Clock run).

Oh....I like this one!

Okay, so I am superstitious to a fault I suppose. Considering this I am going to stick with calling the Ducks underdogs in every game from here on out. 

 

Colorado 17 Oregon 6, 1 sack, 1 turnover, 152 passing yards

 

The Buff's stun Ducks nation tomorrow at Autzen. AB is unable to move the ball and we can only muster 2 field goals on offense.
