Duckley Palace No. 51 Share Posted September 1 Oregon has two hundred more yards, three times the amount of first downs. But you can't let underdogs stay around. Silly things happen when the favorite starts pressing. Idaho can't move on this defense, their defense is going to start breaking down as well.
Jon Joseph Moderator No. 52 Share Posted September 1 These boys aren't spuds duds. Boise's stud RB ran for 267 yards today. Hopefully, the Ducks come away with the win and have their game face on next week. Any unit have a better than C grade? This is why you want to open against an FCS opponent. kirklandduck Moderator No. 54 Share Posted September 1 I’d like to see Dillon Gabriel pull the ball and take off. That would force Idaho’s defense to adjust.

David Marsh No. 58 Share Posted September 1 Offensive line is holding this entire team back right now. The run game is getting clogged up at the line of scrimmage by an offensive line that isn't pushing.
OregonDucks No. 59 Share Posted September 1 We need more downfield passes. 3
OceaniaDuck No. 60 Share Posted September 1 O-line definitely needs a lot of work. If we play the same way against Boise State, we will get clobbered. 1
Dave23 No. 61 Share Posted September 1 Idaho's D was good last year but that was against Big Sky teams. I'm a little scared for Montana State. Can't believe their DL is standing up our Big bruiser on the OL.
OregonDucks No. 62 Share Posted September 1 Oline has been disappointing. They are looking better right now and our RBs are starting to run with more authority.
Desert Duck No. 63 Share Posted September 1 Sadly, if we don't punch it in on this third down play, I think we need to take the three points. Right now, I'm just looking to protect the W and live to fight another day.
Geoduck No. 64 Share Posted September 1 Color me unimpressed. A rushing game like this won’t hold up in the BIG. The players must have bought into all those hype videos a little too much. Let’s hope Lanning is playing 4D chess and this is all some sort of facade to make the future opponents underestimate the ducks, if not it’s gonna be a long season. 1

Haywarduck Moderator No. 75 Share Posted September 1 When talent realizes effort beats talent all day, talent begins to reach its potential. I think the ranking and playing a decent team is just what this Duck team needed to wake up. This is a talented team that was eating their own story before it was made. When was the last time, maybe it is the first time, Oregon was ranked #3 preseason? It takes a pretty seasoned team to not get full of itself when you have already won before you have even suited up.
OceaniaDuck No. 76 Share Posted September 1 (edited) Idaho just scored a TD. Ducks will be lucky to be in the Top 20 after this game. I'm being generous, but our more accurate ranking based on this game is maybe between 21-25. Assuming we escape with a win. Desert Duck No. 78 Share Posted September 1 This is really a bizarre game. If you take a look at the stats, we have absolutely dominated them in all key categories. But I suppose, that is why the game is actually played on the field.
