My suggestion for next year’s non-conference schedule:

- Harvard

- Princeton

- Yale

No O line required for that punt return TD! Yeehaw!

That's one way to score.

I forgot to mention: let's return the kicks!

That's the second intention drive killing play call by Stein.

There was a really stupid YouTube video about Oregon playing bad against Idaho or purpose for the gambling bets, but legitimately, are their people in the program intentionally sabotaging the team? I would think coaching salaries and NIL would keep that stuff in check.

I think it’s more reflective of the lack of confidence he has in the OL right now. He doesn’t trust them enough to protect DG from another sack and perhaps a safety.

Well that was refreshing. Been waiting for Tez to light one up. Now hold them to some three and outs and get the offense some consistent long drives.

The skill positions are doing their best to keep the ship afloat. The secondary in particular is doing an awesome job with multiple pass breakups.

I guess OBD playing old-style LSU ball when Les Miles was HC - pedestrian O, stingy D and good Special Teams play coming together to help win a game lol

I honestly think Will Stein doesn’t know what to do right now because the OL is so bad.

That's the kind explanation. Feels there isn't enough time for receivers to get 15 yards down field before Gabriel gets hammered. Hoping the unexpected call catches the D off guard. But it was a slow developing run play.

Do we not have a screen play in the playbook? Those are really effective when your OL is a seive because it doesn't feel any different than normal to the DL as sad as that sounds, LoL

So Basa has kinda lost his spot? Haven't seen him since 1st quarter

Brice and Devon have been way better

That’s the puzzling part for me. I thought I read somewhere that his offense at UTSA was particularly notable because he had a weak OL to work around.

Would love to see Limar get carries over Noah right now..

I love watching Boettcher play.  He's like an old school linebacker.

UTSA had a very mobile quarterback, if I'm not mistaken.  Think Dennis Dixon.

Another option would be to move the pocket on passing plays (e.g., bootlegs)...

He's been out there but really flat footed. May still not be 100% from the injury last week.

Yay Bo!    Thanks for bringing us your brother!!!

DG is plenty mobile. WS should tweak the offense to make him more of a run threat.

And just when I write that DG escapes a sack and runs for a 1st down lol

Aw jeez Herbert, protect the ball!

And then a fumble followed by a long run for a BSU td...

Fumble - seems like we take a step forward then 5 steps back sigh. Come on Duck D!

NVM - Oh my goodness

just awful.         I give.    I hope we win and a miracle occurs before conference.     I can watch no more

I'm done too. Also praying for a miracle. Sadly, OBD seem to have been overrated this season.

BUT - somehow still keeping the faith.

Is James injured?

That was a really aggressive defensive call against that compact formation. It looked bad before the snap and got worse with the stunts. Jeanty is a special dude.

IMO this is the worst team we have had since Helfrich.

Everything is DG's fault.  The dude is 12/13 (92.3% completion %) for 205 yards with 3 TDs and 0 interceptions, and he is still being criticized.

Another fumble... but in the red zone

NVM... I see what he did, there.

Yeah, neither really were

Giving the game away in the 4th quarter...

Not sure of this but didn’t we lose last year’s o-line coach?

Two fumbles in a row! Thw o-line is loosing this game

I swear DG’s teammates are all trying to sabotage him. Pickard hiked the ball when he wasn’t supposed to.

Exactly. The level of ridiculousness around here regarding the negativity toward DG is exceptional.

This cant be life..team

In truth right now... I don't even know what could be done to save this team and this season.

The OL is losing the game for Oregon. The low level of play is insane.

14 BSU points off of 2 fumbles in about 3 minutes.

That's just incredible.

So a MWC team has multiple injuries on their oline and is unphased. We get a couple of owies on ours and fall apart.

Did I get that right?

DG's got to be wondering why he even came to Oregon about now.  What a pathetic whole team effort tonight.  OSU has to be licking it's chops for next week.

Once again, explosion and implosion. Haha

That's one way to do it, keep the O line off the field

  • Moderator

Like I said, the skill players are doing everything possible to win while anyone associated with the OL is crippling the effort.

Jeez Noah don’t be Kaelin Clay and just give the ball to the ref!

I guess this will be an instant classic CFB game, regardless of outcome.   So enjoy it, OBD fans!

Disgusting
