A system that Greg Sankey had more than a small hand in creating. At this point, committees far away from Eugene will do their best to continue to rig the system in order that the "old guard" remains the status quo. The Kamikaze Kid Moderator No. 11 Share Posted November 1 I saw a pregame video about Oregon's finesse going up against Michigan's power and just shook my head. You keep hearing about Michigan's stout NFL level D. They've given up 113 conference points. The Ducks have given up 63. tOSU has also only given up 63 and Penn ST 61. Pretty impressive except those two have only played four games compared five by the Ducks. The Ducks have the best D in the conference with a head coach that's also a defensive mastermind with the ability to out recruit almost anyone. Excellent article. For all the reasons that Breiler mentioned, Michigan has got to be extremely highly motivated to play us. And after winning the NC last year, there also must be a lot of pride on the line as well. I've stated many times this would happen, as Ohio State thought they would just come into Autzen, make it quiet, and "take care" of our "nice little team" in Eugene.
