I’m interested to see how Indiana matches up with Ohio State, and vice versa.

According to sources in Logan, Utah - TEXAS WRECKED!

Hopefully they knock the wind out of each other's sails.

Man, Bucknutt defense is elite. IU did diddly-squat after that pick. At least they got 3.

IU will need to use the pass to set up the run, otherwise they're not going to get anything on the ground.

Indiana! Let’s go!!!

Take down tOSU

Indiana’s D-line is really good and I love how they disguise coverages/pressures.

It's really interesting how the top 5 teams in the country have had struggles with scoring in the red zone as their biggest vice.

It would depend on our defensive backs maybe, but from what I see, we can beat Ohio St

I believe so too. IF we have our weapons back (DKM, GBjr, and maybe ES), Ohio States defense won't be able to cover.

That 4th down review could be huge.

Mine’s the Buckeyes. Who’s yers? Just sayin.

This'll be nuts if Indiana pulls this off.

WOW OSU kicker missed a chip shot FG to tie it. Now IU just needs to grind out 3 minutes from the clock. Insanity.

No.

Ohio State misses! If Indiana can simply run out the clock, they win. Wow!

What on Earth is Cignetti doing to get Indiana able to out Ohio State and Oregon?!

No.

Fielding misses a FG?

Isn't this the guy Ohio State fans were sure was going to walk on the field and knock in the game winner at Autzen last year if they had not gotten "screwed"? The guy who also missed two against Michigan too?

The Indiana defense is for real. I think Day just thought they dominated OBD because he thought we were weak.

I can see these two meeting again in the championship game.

Mendoza is an assassin.

The 12 vs 5 winner plays the No. 4 seed. If Ohio State loses do they slip to No. 4? No. 3?

No.

It's funny that both coaches played conservative in some ways. Ohio State is fine with losing by 3 points, and their fans can continue to claim that they beat themselves (still undefeated!), and the Ohio State kicker picks up his check from Vegas.

Everybody wins.

They may just swap places given how close the game is.

Given how close this game is, I wouldn't be surprised if they just switched places.

OSU would have the better loss.

I think Tech would stay #4

Yep. #1 loses to #2 by 3 points. They will just change places.

Yep! I think I posted just a few seconds after you.

Well, our only loss of the year is to the 1st ranked team.

We're gonna be #5 as the first 4 play a little Chinese fire drill.

Duke is winning so who we play is unclear.

The good experenced quaterback prevailed over the good inexperenced quarterback.

Personally, I think Alabama should be out.

Once again, Ryan Day’s head will be requested to be served on a platter. He had the ball inside the red zone twice and scored zero points. Kind of like the Michigan game last season.

9/10 – Notre Dame/Miami

10/9 – Miami/Notre Dame

11 – Alabama - unlikely the SEC Champ loser falls out of top 12.

12 – Tulane

13 – James Madison

Does Texas factor?

In the 5 vs 12, 6 vs 11 scenario Tulane has already lost to Ole Miss in September.  Would the Committee put Tulane at 11 to face 6 Ole Miss? Ole Miss did not play Alabama.

BRUTUS: Indiana wants you! You can't go back there at all!

OBD's good loss just got gooder. 🤪

OSU game threads are ripping Hartline apart.

Hoosiers - played their butts off

20-15 – Iowa

30-20 – Oregon

27-24 – Penn St

13-10 – Ohio St

No.

Ohio St is the better team. Sayin is not an all around QB, just an accurate arm when he is not pressured.

Ohio St blew it on their last two drives, which they moved the ball.

Indiana has a lot of energy and they get stronger as the game wears on. But their receivers do not get open. Mendoza throws it to them when they are covered. The window is about as large as a postage stamp.

Oregon could beat either of those teams. They could lose to both just as well. Georgia looks tough.

Time to get the 5 seed and beat up on somebody.

When I watched this game, I felt like I could have been watching the, weren't you once the baddest guys on the block, SEC champ game.

Hats Off to UGA for getting well earned revenge.

But nothing in the history of CFB comes close to this Hoosiers turn around.

Indianapolis just put on a 15-round championship fight, decided at the end by an Ohio State knee too soon down, and the same game FG whiffs we saw out of TOSU vs Michigan in 2024.

Old School was the rule of this game.

First outright Hoosiers B1G title since 1945, two years before my birth.

First title since 1967 under coach John Pont. Pont took Indy to the Rose Bowl, where the Hoosiers lost 3-14 to Oregon grad John McKay's Trojans. Some guy named O.J. Simpson was the game's MVP.

PO - Indiana, Ohio State, Georgia, Texas Tech top four seeds, OBD vs. the Tulane Green Wave.

Wave Off Tulane!

Actually we'll probably play James Madison after Virginia's loss to Duke.

The OBD O-Line Stinks! 6 sacks surrendered to the Hoosiers.

Ohio State. 'Only' 5 sacks surrendered in the champ game.

11-1 with 2025's 'best loss.'

No.

Ohio State has now gone 5 seasons without a Big Ten football title. The last time that occurred was the 6 seasons 1962-67.

With James Franklin now gone, Ryan Day is now on the clock...

Good Call! But I see the committee seeding Miami at 11 and giving No. 6 Ole Miss all it can handle in Oxford.

We'll see(d). 🙃

Sacks?

  • “Very disappointed. Just overall with how we played. Didn’t play very well in the situations, third downs were not very good, not very good in the red zone at the end. I thought Indiana played really well, did a great job”

  • On the team’s sacks it allowed: “They obviously brought different pressures and twists, but that was something they had done all season. We didn’t handle it well at all...This is a major lesson for this team, it can come down to one play or two plays or three plays that decide a game like this. This is a tough lesson to learn. We have to be more efficient across the board.”

That was Coach Day a few minutes ago. Not a quote from Dan Lanning in mid-October.

A team wearing Crimson and Cream has a hell of a D-coordinator.

Did Ohio State lose on purpose for a better playoff position? No one wants to have a long bye.

I believe James Madison will take the 12th seeded team's spot and Tulane will take the 11th seeded team's spot. Miami, Notre Dame and Alabama are fighting for the 9th and 10th seeds.

I vote for Miami and Notre Dame. According to the playoff committee's poll Alabama is the 5th best team in the SEC. They had their chance to get in the playoffs by beating Georgia and they failed. If this upsets the SEC then I suggest they put their two best teams in the championship game just like the Big Ten did tonight.

Duke, the 6th best team in the ACC rose to the challenge and beat Virginia even though they have too many losses to make the playoff field.

Nicely done Indiana! Almost nothing better than seeing tosu lose.

Cignetti reminds me of Mike Leach. Very entertaining to listen to.

Spot on! And my bad for overlooking the 5 conference champs are in rule.

Massey Ranking SOS - Duke 62/ JMU 100 Hmmmm?
