I have made a major change in how we will moderate our GameDay threads. Bottom line, is that you will be allowed to spew your frustration, to vent, as you wish.

But Note the Parameters:

--This is for GameDay threads only; you have to behave in the regular forum threads as in the past.

--You cannot take shots at those who disagree with you, just like in the forum during the week.

Remember how we discussed this upfront in this thread.

I'm so glad we aren't playing in the Rose Bowl. I'm in San Diego and getting flash flood warning on my TV..

Stands are shockingly full although I think I seeing a lot of Miami colors mixed in the the greens and reds.

After watching Ohio State last night, the 25 day layoff is a real thing and must be fixed. OBD benefit from it today.

It wouldn’t surprise me to see all top seeds lose today. The margins between these teams just isn’t that wide and the teams in rhythm win.

We’ve known this forever. Teams that showed up for New Year bowl games were not the same and it always took 2-3 quarters to shake the rust off for both teams.

I don't like their defense getting an unobstructed path to our QB.

I'm telling you, I wouldn't waste my time establishing a rhythm. Moore missed a wide open Benson for a TD. That mismatch is already apparent.

So far, looks like TT's front four is legit.

The only good thing about OSU's loss last night is that it wasn't against an SEC team.

Exactly! We're completing almost every single pass.

Should have kicked the field goal. Or at least not snapped to a player 6 yards back against this defense.

Our O would probably have to lean pass-heavy throughout this game.

The pregame reports I have read say you do not try to run to the edges against TT and best to run up the middle. FWIW.

Ohio State and OBD don't have agile enough lineman to bully these quick DLs we've seen. This requires blocking heads up (one-on-one). Tech has been smart. They totally know they are not going to cover the WRs. So they are laying off the LOS.

I also noticed that when Tech played a six man box, Whittington had a nice run.

That is taking nothing from their linemen.

Have you ever tried blocking a 340 lbs defensive tackle that has elite speed? It ain’t easy!

I’m joking of course, but it wasn’t the best play call. The defense looked not quite ready, that DT just made a great play. IMO.

Two 3 and OUTs. TT's defense has already been on the field a lot. This next drive needs to end in the endzone.

Their offense can't do anything against our D. Now let's just drop bombs from the sky on them!

On a side note, it is just the first quarter and I am already tired of listening to Jesse Palmer. I'm switching over to Jerry and Jorgie.

Stein needs to chip those ends. That blocker should be the check down option. No need to prove anything here. Tech should not be able to cover with the additional time ( this has to be a strategy the rest of the playoffs). I don't want to waste the best mismatch we will have the rest of the year.

I didn’t have our tackles getting completely destroyed on my bingo card. Run right at them in the middle.

The defense has been really solid so far.

Dante Moore needs to settle down. Looking a bit like the Indiana game.

You HAVE to go off on that press coverage. There is no reason to waste time. Stein is trying to wear their line out. He just needs to attack.

What a huge wasted opportunity. Dante isn’t thinking straight right now.

Dante is getting rattled. I hope for his sake he doesn't go to the NFL and comes back. I really think he needs another college season.
