Dilly ran the same play back to back to Dollars. of course, the LBs going to read it better..

I don't understand why we dont throw a fade to Thornton of Chapman both 6'5"

Im thinking there isnt a good ending here.

Pass was tipped

Dilly spread them out and ran into them to start the drive. He did the QB throwback pass to attack how hard they sell out to pursue plays ...

But he still went side to side down at the goal line

Didn't like the play call, hated the execution. They went right back to the same play instead of something else first.

Inaccurate throw, but not a good play selection in my opinion

I'm completely frustrated.  We were about to lock down this game. Now they think they really have a shot to win this game. And now they do

It ain’t over ‘til it’s over!

265 Total yards to their 165.  Wasted.

I've also seen multiple missed assignments (blocks)

If Nix hits Thorton in stride, that would have been a TD.

Why do we turn vanilla in the red zone?

We're a better team, and are about TD to ten point better team. Little things are killing our mojo despite their good play

I haven't liked the play calling inside the ten. Running right where WSU wants us to.

There we go... Dilly must have found MC's redzone playbook!

All those chunk plays don’t mean anything if you can’t score in the red zone. Dillingham better think of something fast.

Dollars being on the field makes the Ducks predictable who the ball is going to.

Why aren’t we taking shots to the end zone?  What am I missing?

At least the kicker showed up.

Same damn play again.  No imagination inside the ten(WSU has them figured out, and one of Arroyo's plays would work very well inside the ten right now).

Need to see some significant second half adjustments for the red zone.

We should have 21 points.

Just FGs --wow. KD needs some help here.

There's that darn play again where WSU they cut right down the middle for a big chunk.

Why aren't they sniffing out these bubble screens?

Sewell is terrible.  Can't even tackle this season.

Sewell is great on run support but has always been less than good when in pass coverage.

Did Dillingham read the article about how good he is and on the list at ASU and get a big head? The play calling is horrible horrible horrible!

Ducks are bad but they at least they aren't Miami.  MTSU leads 24-10.  Miami started with three straight drives that resulted in turnovers.

Locker room door may melt...

Need some big time adjustments.

Need the defense to lock down a bit better.

And the offense needs to finish these plays big time.

Oregon is not playing well and WSU is playing lights out. Only down 8. Second half is going to be all Oregon.

different team this week

Man!   That first half was sad to watch!

Our jet sweeps aren't fooling anyone.  Dilly ran that 3 times against EWU for no gains to loss of yards.

The big question this week was can this young coaching staff travel.

It isn't over yet but so far Oregon on the road is very different than Oregon at home.

Need to turn it around in the second half and get some points and play some solid defense. On defense we have been saved the last two drives by penalties that gave us the edge.

And in previous games they haven't done much either.

Red zone O is not happening today-for whatever reason.

The interception play call was questionable not just because we were repeating a play and increasing the likelihood it would be sniffed out, but honestly at this point I think Dillingham has to account for Nix's bad tendencies.  That's not the first time he's thrown a pick in similar circumstances this year.  That was to a side of the field which, if picked, was likely to be returned for a TD.  It just felt like an unnecessarily risky play (given Nix's issues) on 1st and goal.  I feel like Dillingham shares in the blame for that one.

Let's give WSU a taste of their own medicine and throw more screens.

If stats equated to points, we'd be up by about 14.

First Ducks game I've seen in nearly three years and it's this?  Ugh.

Well, at least I don't think we need to worry about losing our OC to ASU...

They should run more QB option plays in the red zone and keep WSU's defense guessing.  I know some people had issues with the way Nix was running the ball and sacrificing his body, but we may need that to win this game.

That last play that he was involved with or NOT, our DB had WSU's guy pinned.  All Sewell had to do was wrap him up for loss of yards.  He couldn't even contain him and he was able to scoot out for positive yards.

Dang, stay on your feet Thorton.

first play week attack them deep where they are weak with their downhill scheme

TD!  Good start to second half!  Way to answer!

Ok, so that was a grim performance in the 1st half. But offense outgaining WSU 2:1 and without the pick-6 we're up. And ......Hell yes!!

Now I can have my DUCK FART

Man even getting the TD had an asterisk, failed the 2 pt conversion.

Thorton is too much speed for WSU's DBs.

I think things are going to work out.
