  2. He won’t mind. He probably agrees with you.
  3. I believe Matt Prehm is correct from 247 Sports: "The Texas Tech Raider defense gives their insight into how to defend Oregon QB Dante Moore. Their mandate vs. Dante Moore: “Collapse the pocket” and live with the chess match." What should the Oregon Ducks expect from Texas Tech's defense? So what can we expect to see from this Texas Tech team, and in particular, what type of challenges will they present? Let's dive in.

  6. Decisions to be made - Does Dante Moore stay; if not does Lanning bring in a Portal QB? Oregon Ducks On SIAustin Novosad's Transfer Reveals Wild Oregon Quarterback...There hasn’t been a lack of great quarterbacks to play for the Oregon Ducks over the years. Despite the program’s success at the position, the Ducks haven’t had
  7. Pretty confident that once these kids commit then a meal plan and workout regiment is guided for them. Hopefully, he followed direction. After all, these recruits at this level are pretty self driven. They have a whole nother gear (pun intended).
  8. I snorted my Irish Cream Cocoa right there! Bet that final burns a lot worse for the Tigers and the SEC!
  9. I understand yours and JJ's concern about Whittingham, but I have to admit that I admire the man and the way he coaches and I will be rooting for him (especially against Ohio State).
  10. While I did not labor through every play, I totally agree with Kamikaze Kid that JMU would have the upper hand on either team. It made me think that a super conference of 22 or so teams could not be all that far into the future.
  11. Houston 38 - LSU 28 with 2 minutes left in the 4th Q and LSU deep in its own territory.
  12. The B12 showed up today. BYU won a physical game. Houston leads LSU by 3 points with 6 or so minutes left. The conference may be better than given credit for and perhaps, Texas Tech didn't defeat a bunch of bad B12 teams. The ACC's UVA stifled the MIzzou O and won 13-7. Watching this game was almost as bad as watching Sex in the City reruns. The ACC, B1G, B12, and the SEC all had six teams that did not win six or more games. It's going to be interesting to see how the remaining bowls and PO quarter finals play out.
  13. Kentucky has a RSo to be QB that played most of this season that apparently has fans pretty excited. He is a Kentucky kid who I guess was one of the highest rated in-state QBs to ever commit there back in 2024 (Cutter Boyle). He threw for 2160 yards leading UK to a 4-5 finish. I guess there was some panic he was going to jump in the portal with the coaching change and stayed (and there have been some comments from both Stein and new OC Joe Sloan backing Boyle as QB1). I don't see why Novosad would pick another spot where he enters as a junior behind a sophomore? (It sort of sounds a bit like Stein and Novosad would be starting their tenure off with some unhappy Wildcat fans and some extra pressure on both if Stein leapfrogged the popular in-state kid for a guy with 15 career passes)
  14. They will never be good again until they get rid of Dabo. He burned bridges with the African American community, then refused to utilize the portal in meaningful way, and I haven't heard anything about their NIL, he probably thinks it's bad for the moral character of the players to get a cut of the profits, and detrimental to the sanctity of the game. That's not a recipe for successful talent acquisition.
  15. Can't claim victory yet, but 5-0 is way better than the SEC's 2-3, soon to be 2-4 if LSU can't pull it out VS. Houston.
  16. Charles can get on me for saying this, but you’re the smartest guy on this forum. I saw two teams playing hard to win. It was fun to watch.
  17. Thinking he will follow WS to Kentucky. Will recruited him here flipping from Baylor. I think Will & Dan knew all along that WS would be a head coach somewhere and Austin would be following.
  18. Hopefully, he got his degree.
  19. Yes, the Pop Tarts are fun. And not gross like the bowl game where they dump mayonnaisse on the coach--yuck!
  20. I don't think it says anything about Dante, Novosad has had 3 years, if the coaches were telling him that he would need to fight for his job or that they intend to take a transfer than I'm pretty sure he would be transferring to somewhere where he has more assurance that he's going to play. It's been pretty obvious that this has been his plan all along.

  22. Second half defensive flop 'the best thing that could ever happen', Oregon DC Tosh Lupoi says Oregon defensive coordinator Tosh Lupoi thinks positives exist coming out of a disappointing second half of defense against James Madison.
  23. One key stat will determine Oregon's chances against Texas TechAutzen ZooOne key stat will determine Oregon's chances against Texa...While it's true for most teams, it's startling how much difference this makes for the Ducks.
  24. He gave the Ducks 3 years. He knows he is not going to play here.
