  2. For this Duck fan, the November/December version of OBD's is better than the October version. With real time game experience and a great deal of water under the bridge the current Duck offense has very little resemblence to the offense on the field against IU. Dante is reading defensive sets/formations and calling audibles to avoid trouble. The result, less sacks and more positive plays. He may be extremely talented but he was clueless in the IU game. His line gave up 6 sacks. Goodness.....Since that game the 2 deep line has done what was needed in run block assignments and pass blocking. You don't win 6 games in a row, in the BIG, to close out your conference schedule with out a stout O line executing at a high level. Watch the games again and dont follow the ball carrier. Look at the down field blocking by the linemen, tight ends and receivers. It is exceptional with hat on hat 20-30 yards downfield. Exceptional.... The key component is Dante! In October he was an extremely talented player brimming with potential. And IU knocked his confidence into next week. Thru the course of the season, with hard work, high end coaching and determination, Dante has become a team leader and probably the #1 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. With protection and the newly found TE sets(last 4 games) Dante is a difference maker. He will be the difference against TT. I have promised myself I won't melt down when TT stuffs and stymes OBD's on the first few possessions. Those first 8 to 12 plays set the stage for future big plays later. For you younger Forum members, in the sixties the New York Jets had a,QB named Joe Willie Namath. There were no artificial turf stadiums. When bad weather arrived the fields were muddy. The Jets O Lines goal was to keep Joe Willies uniform clean. Sideline camera shots would pan the O line and Joe Willie. The lineman's jerseys would be muddy and bloody. Joe Willie's entire uniform would be clean. In 1969 they kept Joe Willie so clean they won the Super Bowl. Keep Dante's uniform clean and OBD's NFL Light team will put TT in the rearview mirror. GO DUCKS!
  3. A lot like the Seahawks uniforms from Thursday. Who is the leader?
  4. I only remember maybe 5 to 8 Ducks in the last 50 years with that kind of speed and none that big. Hope he has the moves and hands.
  5. Today
  6. I am still blown away by this guy...he was faster in high school than Tyreek Hill, but he is not 5'8", but he is 6'3" was one of the fastest high schoolers in the nation, and can jump through the roof. Once he gets back in shape and into form? He could be the perfect guy that turns 50/50 passes into a 75/35% in his favor by catching or pass interference. Oh yeah...he is big and strong and can out-muscle most defensive backs...whew!
  7. Just win and I won't care!
  8. Me. I've compartmentalized what is left of my brain to prioritize the good in the long-term memory lobe. What was the question again?
  9. The Ducks can put this combo in a bag with bricks and drop it in the ocean as far as I’m concerned. It’s a good looking combo but does not fit the Ducks. No green? No yellow? No way.
  10. It's time for the Festivus Feats of Strength! (that entire Seinfeld Festivus bit is so hilarious)
  11. I'm a Christian, so this is not meant as a mockery of the holiday, but for me--this is part of the fun of the season. Festivus for the Rest of Us!
  12. On the other hand, there were the 2010 grey uni’s in Corvallis to seal the perfect season and trip to the BCS championship.
  13. Merry Christmas! May at least one of your gifts be green and yellow.
  14. Nothing like making the opponent prepare for every possibility.
  15. Wishing all a Merry Christmas.
  16. Let's just hope that coach Lanning is able to change up the L vibe with this particular uni combo so that in the future we don't collectively react with " oh no" 😳🤦
  17. Yep! And the 2010 Natty vs. Auburn, and there are others such as the disaster at Arizona in 2013 and... Who can forget the home loss to WSU?
  18. Really a fun article Mike, thank you very much. I was at the USC game in 2012 at Memorial Stadium. The only problem with being there is that I think it unlikely that I will ever see a more exciting game and such a powerful performance as Kenjon Barner again in my lifetime.
  19. Mike, thank you so much for a perfect take delivered on a perfect day. GO DUCKS!
  20. Got me! (I gotta admit....that was funny)
  21. As the 4-seed, I believe TT is the 'home team' for uniform, locker room, etc. purposes, and accordingly wears the darker colored uniforms. If the PO plays out as seeded, OBD (knock wood) will be the 'away team' for the Orange, Peach, and Champ games. WRECK TECH!
