GameDay Thread versus Arizona State: Join Us!
Agreed. Let the starters finish the half and then shut every starter down. We have a short week ahead of us for the CW so no need for any extra snaps.

One of These Things is Not Like the Others
I have said it once and I will say it again. We hit the absolute lottery with DL. Truly an amazing human and is well on his way to taking Oregon to the promise land.

Huge Eyeball Test Today For the Ducks
I don’t agree with that. DL has faith in him, and with the kicker position you don’t just give it to someone else and see what happens. If the coaches start doubting Camden then his confidence will be affected even more than it already is if we need to call his number again. He is a seasoned kicker and just going through some mental roadblocks. Raise this kid up and boost his confidence is the only option at this point in the season.

Hopefully just a minor sprain for Bucky. 🤞 Give him next week off and plenty of time to heal before civil war.

TY Thompson Performance
Have to agree Charles. I think we all love TT, but is he the guy for next year? I would say no. The transfer portal will open up and some top tier QBs will be flocking to Eugene if they have the chance.

Games of Interest Chat Thread (Second)
Such a conundrum… I want SC to win so it looks better when we put a beating on them next week. But also I want to play an undefeated WA in the championship game.

Games of Interest Chat Thread (Second)
Go Pitt, Go OKST, Go Missouri, Go Maryland. Top teams aren’t impressing today. Here’s to Oregon breaking that trend and coming out strong.

Yikes. Cringe Time...
A little over reaction… How do you think that conversation would go? I am sure PK is a better leader than that. He knows how to manage stressful situations and micromanaging after a 3 point loss on the road is not a good tactic. Truthfully I don’t believe the outcome of this game mattered for the CFP (it mattered to all of us because we hate losing to the Fuskies). If both us and WA run the table and meet in the PAC championship game the winner of that will get the playoff berth. If we won this game and lost the pac championship you think we get the bid? Nope. Season is still fully in our hands. This loss might have been exactly what our players and coaches needed to kick it into overdrive and dominate from here on out.

Yikes. Cringe Time...
Of course PK has influence (as he should!). What I was saying is he is a fan of the ducks just like all of us and can have emotions during tough losses. Lord knows he has had his share of these moments with OBD.

Yikes. Cringe Time...
He’s just a fan like the rest of us. Just has a few more commas in his bank account than the rest of us. Thankfully we still control our destiny. Take care of business and get the rematch in Vegas. Winner of the game (if the winner has only 1 loss) will get into the playoffs.

High Anxiety: What Sedative Are YOU Taking for the Game?
If you have a hook up on overnight tranquilizers let me know… hopefully we will only need them for the first quarter and then it will just be fun soaking in the beat down.

Wall Street Journal on the USC Defense
Unfortunately USC is about to get exposed on defense even more than they already have. By the time they come to Eugene they will have 2 maybe even 3 loses. Unfortunate because I would love for them to be ranked high when we expose them. Caleb just doesn’t have enough magic to make up for their D.

Dan Lanning UNFILTERED:
How can anyone not like this guy? We are lucky to have DL! And hopefully he will call Eugene home for a long time.

NCAA Does Away With 25 New Player Limit
To be fair, players that were cut had their scholarships fully guaranteed at CU if they decided to stay. Not sure how many players actually stayed after getting the boot. Not a bad deal if you were a backup long snapper on a 1-11 team lol.

Bryce Boettcher - Another Eugene Product & Surprise
He is a Junior this year. Played special teams for us last year. Love to see his impact and intensity out there. Looks like a true old school player.

Overtime Rules - Colorado Took First Possession Twice
From reading the rules it looks like Colorado chose the direction they were going for the first overtime which then gave CSU the option in the 2nd OT. Terrible mistake as you always want to go second in overtime (even though it worked in their favor). “Overtime begins with a coin toss to determine which team starts with the ball in overtime, with the visiting team calling the toss. The winner of the coin toss can either play offense or defense to start, or can opt to choose which side of the field it wants to start. There is no deferral. The team that loses the toss has to make the remaining decision, and then has the first pick to start the second overtime. The team that won the first coin toss will pick for any even-numbered overtime periods, and the team that lost the coin toss will make the decision in every odd-numbered period.”

Pac-12 to Provide Enhanced Access to College Football Broadcasts
Pac-12 to provide enhanced access to college football broadcasts - ESPN WWW.ESPN.COM The Pac-12 will provide enhanced in-game and pregame access during broadcasts of college football games this fall, including in-game head coach interviews and having select coaches and... I like the sound of this and should help with the negotiations taking place for media rights. Having more of an open broadcast and more visibility to the players and coaches is only going to be a good thing for the PAC. Now it sounds like the NCAA needs to sign off on the level of access, so fingers crossed.
