    You could make an argument that AB deserved to start the Alamo Bowl, now we've seen that he doesn't deserve to finish it. I'd actually like to see Butterfield play the 2nd half. He's the only pro-style QB on the team, I want to see what he would do to boost the passing game.

    They're being hamstrung by a horrible offense, I'd be in a bad mood too if I were them.

    I don't think it is. That's a reflection of the actual player development that has happened under Cristobal/Mirabal.

    Every time there's even a modicum of rhythm by the offense a penalty ruins it.

    Troy Franklin didn't even TRY to catch that pass. Wow.

    OU is figuring out how to attack the thin DB group. It's now or never for the offense to figure it out.

    You can tell AB is getting antsy to make something happen. When he dies that, he rushes things and doesn't set his feet resulting in those low passes. Ugh.

    Defense is doing fine, the offense still needs to clean up silly mistakes.

    OU is missing 4 of their front 7, ride Dye and Cardwell the entire game. Best chance for a win.

    That pass was only slightly behind Thornton, right on the shoulder. That was definitely catchable and is on the receiver.

    Really great show of human decency by the Oklahoma band to help the Oregon band as a lot of them are stranded in Eugene due to the snow.

    For at least going into January, recruiting on the offensive side is going to lag behind the defensive side given that there's no hired position coaches yet. Hopefully Dillingham can reel in this guy, the WR corp definitely needs some extra experience and depth.

    Nevermind, the other article about Coach Tuioti mentions mentions him as a defensive passing game coordinator

    Maybe I'm uninformed but how does it work that he's the cornerbacks coach as well as the passing game coordinator? Isn't the latter a position on the offense side of things?

    +1 An FCS or mid-major FBS team like Nevada is the perfect place for an analyst to prove themselves on the field.

    Those are great questions to ask. It probably explains why there's less hesitation to reach out to coaches with less than stellar histories with NCAA violations. I hope this doesn't turn into a "Jail Blazers" era of Oregon football...
