  1. He developed an amazing culture at Utah. Will he have time for a culture to take root at a place like UM in 2026? Is he really a bridge guy to infuse a program on the ropes? Guess we might find out. Whit has had a great career no doubt about it. He also finished the last 2 seasons (2025-26 pending) unranked. I wish him luck if it happens…but not too much luck 😂
  2. Love when 🤡 emphatically states things 😂 Impossible to imagine a contract at UM being worth a tad more than free in-state tuition for grandchildren. It’s a weird choice if it happens. If Michigan is really interested in changing their ways (I don’t think they are) this would be about as clean of a dude as they could hire. That being said, the solution is a 66 year old coach that is NIL/Portal reluctant and known for non-explosive offense?
  3. Give it another 6-6 year and we’ll see where he lands. Cal actually wasn’t far off from having a good year and they still fired the coach because being close has been Wilcox’s theme almost every year he’s been there. I could totally see Sag playing it out to see if this change gets them over the hump.
  4. Looks great! I always feel so young when we do a uni reveal here 😆
  5. Can’t say when you peaked until the season is over imo.
  6. ND has no reason at the moment to join a conference. This however, might be the first domino towards changing that. I think they’re going to run into serious scheduling challenges once legitimate programs fully realize there is no advantage to scheduling a difficult OOC opponent. ND is going to start only attracting teams that need the exposure that comes from playing ND, and playing the UNLV’s of the world 12 times a year might start to bite them in the butt. I think they’re going to be relegating themselves to G6 status schedule wise. As to 3 loss teams in the field, get used to it. With a 16-team field and 9-conference game schedules across the board, I’m guessing a quarter of the field will have 3 losses next year. Just taking the straight up top-16 this year would have had 3 teams with 3 losses in the field.
  7. I’ve calmed down a bit. I kept thinking of JMU as being Portland State or Beavis…they’re G6, but they aren’t chopped liver. We’ve established that we can lose focus when we get up by four TDs against a team that won 12 games. Guess we should avoid getting up by so much 😆
  8. I’d theorize the relative cold and generally moist air, combined with the surface being more worn out after a full season (assuming we didn’t put down a new surface before the game) is not something our playing surface experienced a ton of this year. Maybe they weren’t all wearing full rain shoes given it wasn’t actually raining? Seemed very slippery though. I thought the receiver was flat out knocked over on the first pick, second one was iffy decision and forcing it a bit (imo), but it happens. I think Dante is hands down the best QB that has played so far in the playoff.
  9. Good year, got a playoff win…let’s see what Moore does.
  10. I believe 6 of TAMs conference wins were against teams that either had losing records or fired their coach….or both. I’d also add that this game should really make ND pipe down. These were the two they lost to, beat one of them and you’re in.
  11. Nah, it’s not bullying when it’s Beavis imo. They earned every ounce of ridicule for at least another couple years.
  12. As I said in the other post, it’s all about context. Going into the year without any context, I was expecting 10-2 with a home playoff win. We seem to be on our way to that and then some. That being said, now that we have some context, I’d be very let down if we can’t beat Tech. Tournament play is a crap shoot though…any of the top 10 could get hot and win it.
  13. Worth noting that there are multiple in conference teams that also hired a new coach during the same time frame as Beavis. Their new coaches strength is supposed to be recruiting 🤔
  14. *Sorry for the terrible screen grab. Can’t seem to straighten it out at the moment!
  15. I’m definitely not noble 😆 PAC Standings
  16. If the DeBoer to UM smoke is real, it’s enough of a distraction to tip the scales imo
  17. My expectation going into this year with no context, was one playoff win. I definitely want to win it all, and think we have a shot, but it really is a crapshoot once you enter the tournament. Context is everything. If we win the first and second round, but then lose by 1 point to an undefeated team that goes on to win at all, it would be tough not to call that a great season. Likewise, winning against JMU, but then losing to Tech would meet my original expectation, but would also be very disappointing. Luck is when preparation meets opportunity…but good opportunity is way better than bad 😆
  18. Who knows if he’s the one, but there will almost certainly be a top portal QB in play if Moore goes. Believe I read the last 4 Heisman winners have been transfers, 3 of them being QBs.
  19. Really setting up the launch of the new PAC well. Bunch of teams that can’t compete with the P4 and can’t stop suing everyone…sounds amazing! 😂
