  1. Beavis continues to confuse karma/the world is out to get them with indifference. Nobody is out to get you Beavis, you’re just irrelevant.
  2. Ah the if game! I’ll play. OBD only won by 21 against the Terps, but it would have been at least 31 if we didn’t rough the punter to open the game. Case closed!
  3. Indeed, even us lowly lapsed donors and season ticket holders got it.
  4. Long season and navigating unprecedented waters. IMO this was just a workman like game no one will remember at the end of the season because we won by 21. The only conclusion I draw is we just had a weekend where two of the top-4 lost, and 2 others in the initial top-12 won by 7 or less against teams with losing records. OBD played uninspired football on offense yet we still won by 21. Now that we’re at game 11, I have to ask, what is with the pervasive, lingering fear of Wisconsin? It’s 2024, they’re a .500 team with a second year coach in rebuild mode. It’s Michigan with less talent. Iowa (yes Iowa) scored 42 on them last week. They aren’t rolling out Russell Wilson.
  5. No chicken little. Garbage effort and beat a team that might go bowling by 21. We’re 10-0.
  6. They found a way to be relevant, shrewd move Beavis!
  7. Good thing everyone got rid of divisions, playoffs could have been really chaotic.
  8. So he’s saying the #6 team from the SEC could beat a lot of teams from an 18 team conference? BOLD prediction there chief.
  9. Of all the plays not to review, this up there with not reviewing our INT against tOSU. Why would such huge plays EVER not be reviewed? For this play specifically, I thought there was definitely a chance the ball never hit the ground, and there certainly wasn't conclusive evidence that it did hit the ground. Call should stand either way.
  10. Most of the B1G is caveman football where #44 is likely to be the best offensive player.
  11. Definitely feels like this to me, but I still agree with the sentiment of playing the same way for that first possession when we start the 3rd with the ball. OBD are all free-flowing in Q2, do that one more time and put it away. If the other team starts with the ball in Q3 and OBD gets the stop, then by all means proceed with strangling the clock. PS - isn’t it great to be nit-picking after a 21 point win at the big house?
  12. I thought the same thing, but I’m guessing OBD will stick to their guns to try to “right the ship”. DL bristled at the question during the broadcast which means OBD will probably double down.
  13. I’ve seen all I need to see as far as PSU goes. Caveman offense with zero first half TDs. I think tOSU is the second best team in league, but they are playing with fire only up 4.
  14. I’ve been to every original PAC10 stadium. A few to mention: WSU - horrible on every front. Imagine pre-redone Parker, only worse. Total dump. OSU - was horrible, but in fairness I haven’t been since the re-do. UCLA - as mentioned, iconic but terrible. I’m guessing it’s possible to have a good experience on the 50 USC - Coliseum was fun for me. Consistent theme throughout, it’s cool UW - spectacular and one of a kind, but a LOT of horrible site-lines. Northwest Wild Card - Kibbie Dome in Moscow ID. If you ever get a chance to go when they’re good and it’s full, go for it. That stadium is just a barrel, but man can it get loud when full.
  15. Sorry to add to a days old post, but I saw something at a Beavis forums that’s may just cure you Charles! In reference to the MWC adding GCU as a non-football member today.
  16. I think we’ve been a villain for a while. Trying to become the villain will take some more work.
  17. Depends on how much they win by. Win by 10+ and they have a direct comparison against tOSU. PS It’s not going to happen.
  18. So I'm definitely not noble, and decided to check out how worried they are about this at a popular Beavis forum. Strangely enough, no one has brought up tv ratings.
  19. Becomes interesting, because most B1G are or have been stuck but refuse to be creative for whatever reason. Look at Indiana. Import a bunch of JMU skill players and a different philosophy and suddenly they’re world beaters in year 1.
  20. I believe yes, for OBD. As we well know from decades of personal experience, any team that can actually throw the ball with creativity has a punchers chance, no matter how questionable they may be up front. Most B1G are pretty well built up front and able to mash. But when the mash strategy is neutralized most of them flounder…been that way forever.
  21. No joke, I’m pretty sure that game was on espn2 or something, but the CW would get better numbers with a rerun of Gunsmoke.
  22. The Purdue stats are misleading imo. Giving up 200 rushing would be alarming if it was against a balanced team that had the forward pass as part of their arsenal. Purdue is not that. They are the quintessential caveman B1G team that couldn’t manage to get 100 yards passing for the game. 40 rushing attempts in a game you lose by 35 at home? That’s dysfunctional imo. I’d take those stats every single time.
