  1. Jon, this article did sharpen my focus on the game against the Golden Gophers, they did better last season than I would have thought. In 2017, PJ "row the boat" Fleck was a big get.
  2. Now days every prediction about recruiting is BOLD, the second one would be great, and realistic, the third is a given.
  3. Originally posted by Mudslide Ted Talk: Three Bold Predictions for Oregon Football - On3 WWW.ON3.COM I'm back with three bold predictions for Oregon football ahead of this season.
  4. I can't feel too sorry for Arch, ($20M NIL) but all of this is based on his name, I actually think Klubnik is more interesting.
  5. On the other end, Purdue is at 3.5 +154. This would be a huge step up for the Boilers, who lost coveted safety Thieneman to OBD! I don't see 4 wins, maybe their best chances are the first two games, at home against Ball State, 3-9 in 2024 and Southern Illinois, 4-8.
  6. I suppose that's why gambling is "fun".
  7. Exactly right and exactly why this crazy.
  8. Sure, OBD could lose at Penn State, that's in the realm of possibilities, and maybe, if you're betting real money, don't bet the house on the Ducks thumping the Mutts. 2025 College Football Prediction, Best Bet: Back Oregon to Eclipse Win Total WWW.FOXSPORTS.COM Find out why Geoff Schwartz is backing the Oregon Ducks to eclipse their regular-season win totals. Let's get into it.
  9. Steve Spurrier stirs the pot with blunt shot at Arch Manning FANSIDED.COM Who says fame doesn't come with its haters? Rising redshirt sophomore quarterback Arch Manning had a meteoric rise to...
  10. "Beaver takes the snap, fakes the pitch and strolls into the endzone, touchdown Beaver, Ducks piling it on" Not confusing at all.
  11. The SEC dominance is just getting old. It would be one thing if the FPI were one of many, but it isn't. It's the ESPN-SEC biased propaganda machine pumping out "facts" How could a computer really come up with Texas being so much better than it was last season?
  12. Speaking of the Titanic, I don't see Arch Manning shouting, "I'm the king of the world!". Ohio State is an iceberg, and Texas can see it. ASU without Skattebo wins it all? Nah. I didn't like it when Clemson trotted through its ACC schedule to the BCS and I definitely don't want them winning another, and please which is the real "Death Valley?
  13. Lanning has 35 wins, Bellotti is No.1, 116-55, 678%. Lanning is 35-6, 854%. If Lanning goes 14-2 for the next 6 years, he'd be 119-18, 869%, so if he wants to stay until he is the winningest, he will be around a long time.
  14. For the second time in this topic, this is just ridiculous. If his name was anything else he wouldn't be getting this hype, Klubnik, Nussmeir even Allar. But the name Manning gets the attention, and he is at Texas, so, he's No.1
  15. Osu2 interesting is a stretch for me. Osu2 has been the model of "reload, not rebuild" and should they falter this season. as you noted, they really faltered last season but ended up with the Natty anyway, I don't think it will be due to their spending habits.
  16. Okay! Whew is right. I've never liked FSU and anytime 'Bama loses is great. But now I actually want the Tide to Roll over Florida State.
  17. This is where it's headed, and it's all because 50 years ago the NCAA latched onto its "Student-Athlete" model and would not let go. Penalize players for getting jobs, or loans to buy a hamburger. Meanwhile the coaches and schools. conferences, TV networks are making $$$, but they're professionals. Now, because the NCAA has been inert, the players are professionals in every sense of the word. Back in the day players wanted to play for their school. It meant something to them. But then we got the players skipping "meaningless" bowl games to protect their NFL viability. Now players are coming to the school that will give them the best NIL deal. Money is driving the Playoff structure, and the players don't have to wait for the NFL to "show them the money"
  18. Yes Yes The closest to that Species can be found here:
  19. And Okie and Vandy beat up 'Bama, the strength of schedule is what the ESPN computer says it is, nobody is crowing louder than ESECPN about how great the SEC is, that the football product must be dominated by SEC teams. We DESERVE to only play 8 conference games.
  20. The one positive, perhaps with the Portal is that here is hardly anytime where nothing is going on.
  21. Exactly! Perhaps Brown & Taylor would do better sizing 42 regulars and leave football prognosticating to people better suited.
  22. I'll round up to 800 yards for the season and 12 touchdowns, I hope Moore to Moore delivers a lot of deep downfield TD's, but if Sadiq or Bryant or Kasper got a lot of looks in the red zone that would be fine. if Moore to Moore can simulate Howard to Smith from last season the Ducks will be in great shape, but I don't want a Herbert to Mitchell situation.
  23. Hard to teach old dogs new tricks.
  24. Michigan and Illinois have similar schedules, Michigan hosts osu2, Illinois is at the 'shoe. Michigan is at USC, the Trojans go to Illinois, neither play OBD.
