(And the replay verified it.) But the ref - only a few yards away - BLEW HIS DAMN WHISTLE - as the receiver spun out of the tackle!

I still don't understand why the backup QB was inserted when it was only a 3-score game with 12 minutes left. Typically that substitution takes place around that time with at least a four-score lead in the fourth quarter. I was upset with Cristobal's decision the moment Ty came in. And bam, the result I feared happened and the opponent scores again, putting the game in jeopardy with so much time remaining.

I have never thought for ONE SECOND that the fans were booing the team. They were booing Cristobal, period. Maybe it's time for our version of a now-famous chant: "Let's Go Dye!!!, Let's Go Dye!!!, . . ."
