Local Duck Media FAILING Us?
I just watch the games and chat with you guys mostly. Coach isn't going to tell me anything I can't figure out from the Game and OBDF. Everything else is between him and his team. He will not be disclosing it to the rest of us.

Joseph Goodman (Auburn): Watching Bo Nix With Bitterness in My Heart
Everyone with the ability to see could see that Nix was going to be a stud at Oregon. A lot of people at AU and UO were, unfortunatly, blinded by one thing or another. Nix is a football player first and has great QB skills second. When Nix jumps to NFL, hopefully to a decent team with a line, he will show better than he has at Oregon. Dude's a Dude.

WATCH: If Georgia and Oregon Met Again, What Would the Score Be?
Prediction? Ducks make the playoffs face Dawgs in first game. 35-31 Ducks. Heading to the NCG to face tOSU. Ducks are better than they appear. By the end of season, LB play will be fixed.

A Sad Reflection: We Could’ve Had Justin Wilcox
Fool me once... Players picked the last guy. Why Mullens would do that twice is beyond me. Glad it didn't work out for Joey.

Is Lanning’s New Game-Plan…Chip Kelly 2.0?
I thought I heard Lanning talking about game management in an interview this week. He was specifically talking about the final 4 minutes v. UCLA. That he needs to get better. That final drive ended with Nix having to run around a bit then launching the ball high into the air to run the clock out. I think it bothered Lanning that he wasn't able to end it on the previous 3rd down. DL has made statements throughout the season about game management. Use of clock is a big part of that. Just look at the middle 8 stats. Those numbers confirm his focus on managing the game at a high level. Well done on your high level pondering and communicating those thoughts to us in a coherent way. Very well done Charles.

Oregon is the Pac-12’s Standard Bearer, Not the LA Schools
Good article Marsh. Oregon is circled on every opponents schedule every year. Been this way for years. It's why Cougs looked like world beaters v. Ducks, pedestrian in every other game they played

If Ducks Win Out, Who Do We Help?...USC?
USC comes to Autzen next year, I think.

If Ducks Win Out, Who Do We Help?...USC?
USC will get rolled by Oregon, Alicia. But hey, keep the hope alive.

Seeking Help From OBD Fans: Understanding the Linebacker Puzzler
I think LB play has gotten better. Flowe is still very raw and inexperienced but is the exact body type and motor Lanning is looking for. Flowe could have a break out year next year. My biggest concern is the pass coverage. 3rd and seven is easily converted due to LB lack of pass coverage. Big reason Ducks are 129th of 131 in 3rd down Defense. The good news is the 1st and 3rd level play. Secondary isn't getting beat at the rate they were early.

Sewell forced DTR that ended in an Addison pick.

Is Georgia Really That Much Better?
I think todays Ducks could hang with anyone in the country. When Dawgs played Ducks they had players in the UGA system multiple years and a coaching continuity. The ducks had 1 position group with continuity. The O line. I could make a strong argument the O line of Oregon beat UGA front seven. Its everywhere else Oregon lost and for good reason. New HC and staff, new QB, new WR room, new RB room. Newish D-line, aside from Sewell, newish LB room and new secondary. This coaching staff has coached up this team at a rapid rate. How many times v. UCLA did you see Bridges get torched. Or the entire secondary for that matter. Against one of the best offenses in CFB to boot. The only times I can remember sayin "what the..." was Flowe twice. Once when he tried to tackle ZC high and got shrugged off and the ZC TD. Flowe was out of position and took a horrible angle. I am a homer for sure. I get it. But this Duck team is scary good. By Pac CG, at the rate of "got better " week to week, Oregon will be able to stand toe to toe with anyone. I they just might win. RAH RAH!! GO DUCKS!!

Oregon Ranked No. 8 In Latest AP & Coaches Poll
3 spots to the bubble. Maybe we can get there by Utes game. Cal to play first. Could be another top 10 match-up. USC wins out and pac championship could also be a top 10 match-up.

Progrum? WTH?
It's how DL pronounces program. I have spelled it here progr'm

Bucky > Travis Dye
Not just Irving, a lot of Ducks are making big contributions in the RB room. And with Big Sala out there 10 yards down field on a pull, fun to watch for sure.

Dilly’$ Offen$e
Overpaid or worth it? Evaluating the 10 highest-paid assistant football coaches WWW.USATODAY.COM Clemson's offensive and defensive coordinators are the highest-paid assistants in the country, but only one... After the season, Oregon needs to rework Dilly's contract. He needs to be top five. Most of the coaches at Oregon should get new contracts.

Cal a Legit Trap Game?
Turned on Cal/fusky. Yea, nevermind. Both teams look bad. Fusky looked good first few games. Horrible football being played in this game.
-
Was the Onside Kick === The Pick?
Ducks went on 4th two times, B2B, in single drive. From their own side of the field. Who does that? Phenomenal execution by the starting QB. Bo Nix stock jumped in the Heisman race. Hope he ends up in NY.

Cal a Legit Trap Game?
Next week kinda makes me nervous.

Bucky > Travis Dye
Dye playing for SC rubs me wrong. But like the case with MC, I like who we got. Ducks would smoke SC. Hope we get to find out.

Fast FishDuck Facts From Beating Bruins
Mariø set a record today also. Win/win. Offensively Oregon looks to be a CFP standard. Every week they get better. Stats aside, Oregon looks like the 2nd best (tOSU) offense in the country. They pass the eye test. The D held UCLA to fg's when it mattered. When it was time to go man, Ducks stopped them in their tracks. 3 ain't WND. D is getting better. Sewell made some plays late. Flowe took a horrible angle on that TD. Gotta fix LB play. Got 5 to play before Pac title game. Fix LB play and and who knows what could happen. Maybe we get UGA and tOSU to finish out 22.

Is It Possible for Ducks to Reach CFB Playoffs?
Oregon used bend dont break in a NC v. Auburn. Ended in a last second field goal. With this O-line, Nix, Bucky, Franklin... I would love to compete this year. Oregon ran the bend don't break almost flawlessly tonight. Only surrendering 3's during the most crucial parts of the game. Very well coached game in offense, defense and special teams. By the time the pac title game arives, Ducks are going to be dam good.
