  1. I’m becoming weary of all the drama. The NCAA is incompetent at best.
  2. My wife will attest that I would go into a tizzy every tome Dilly put his QB in a naked set. It worked on occasion but it was a liability for pass blocking and wheel routes which were productive early in the season. Another thing that drove me crazy was the lack of passes targeted to our tight ends. We had a great tight end room but seemed unwilling to use them at the end of the season. The last 3 games our tight ends caught 5 balls. I certainly hope the TE room stays in tact. As far as running backs Bucky and Whit were exceptional but I can’t compare them to James and Barner, those two backs had great break away speed and when they got into the secondary they were gone. Bucky and Whit excelled at breaking tackles without breakaway speed and are quite good at it by the way
  3. Couldn’t agree more. I’ve been a Duck fan since the 60s and I can’t remember a worse defense than we had this year. With all the 5 and 4 star players at the coaches disposal it was Truly mind boggling.
  4. I had a lot of confidence in Dilly at first but a lot of us knew what plays were coming in certain situations and, trust me, so did opposing coaches. If not for hiccups from Cameron Rising we could have lost our last three. Dilly will make a lot of money and I can’t blame him for taking this job. He probably will be there 3 years win 4 or 5 games a season. I think back of some of those teams in the past with Woody Green, Roy Jefferson, Danny White and Ben Malone. Doubt if ASU will ever see that kind of talent again. I wish Dilly luck but he has an uphill battle starting now.
  5. We knew this kind of thing would happen and are going to see more of it. The Ducks have to make room for the new guys that fit DL’s plan for success. I’ve always thought that we have too much skill position talent and not enough horses. We see in the NFL that many of the wide receivers think they are better than they are and there are only so many passes that will be thrown. I trust DL will get the correct mix of players to improve on what he has in a very short time. That being said I hope he fulfills his dream. You only get a short period of time in college to make that happen. Good luck young man.
  6. Love to see him stay. He would be a great mentor for our young freshman and I get weary with transfer QBs even though we got a great one this year.
  7. There has been some nervousness about loosing recruits over this. Did a little research and found this list of top 25 recruiters in the pack 12 #1 Adams #2 Martin #4 Lupoi #11 Klem #23 Prowledge All Ducks No mention of Lanning or Dillingham. My point is I can see loosing some players to transfer, ones looking for playing time, to ASU going with Dilly but I don’t see a mass exodus of recruits. I’m confident DL knew this was coming and already has his list of replacements.
  8. Excellent coach. Seems like he hasn’t been able to recruit those athletes to put Stanford in the upper tier that Always was the case just A few years ago. They were always a tough out. Good luck to him, my respect for him is high level.
  9. What a difficult time for Duck fans the last few seasons. Since the transfer portal, defections of coaches, schools betraying their conferences, underclassmen entering the draft before they are ready, and nil it has been a difficult task to be in love with college sports. I guess the task for fans is try to not get bogged down with it all but it is extremely difficult to do. Go 🦆🦆🦆s
  10. Maybe I’m psycho but is this the worst defense in Oregon modern history or does it just seem like it. Dye was a far better linebacker than what we have now.
  11. TO battle Ducks 3/0 Tot yards Ducks by 152 T of P Ducks by10 minutes. First downs Ducks 26/19 Passing yards Ducks 327/ 60. Pretty hard to loose with those numbers. But our coaching staff managed to do it.
  12. Not sure I’m sorry to hear this. His play calling got easier to defend later in the season. Same plays over and over.
  13. There was so many failures this game it’s hard to put a finger on one. The most glaring is the ars kicking both of our lines got in the 4th qtr. Mind boggling for sure. How can you loose to a team with a high school QB. The Ducks knew OS wasn’t going to throw and we still couldn’t stop the run. What were our linebackers doing. Answer, nothing in the 4th. Here we go again trying to keep coaches that can’t coach. Been going on for a while now. This was even more painful than the Wash loss. These coaches obviously don’t understand the rivalry games the Ducks are in and lost both because of it. One at home the other with a huge lead late in the game. Depressing end to what could of been a Cinderella season for DL
  14. Our coaches have lost their way. Empty backfield is not working.
  15. Easy to tell who came to play today.
