Not likely. Our goals should be to improve our offense over last year and for our defense to be aggressive and play on their toes not their heels. If we accomplish that and get our special teams to contribute in a positive manner then the wins should come in bunches.

I’m most excited about DL his staff and their relentless pursuit of speed without sacrificing size. DL is a bulldog of a different sort, granted he made some in game mistakes last season, but I still believe with a healthy Nix we would have been in the playoffs. Making the playoffs with a Defense that bad would have been a shocker to say the least.

I’m sure the Cali schools don’t want the subject brought up about 2024. La kids have grown up very rarely having to play a football game in foul weather let alone traveling in it. In my opinion the pack schools will be plundering LA schools of their talent, can’t wait to see that happen. Let the sniveling begin.

After a year to explore the talent ( college girls ) he may want to leap to another level of life. Like new girlfriend or new track coach or new football program. This seems like a backwards step for a kid with elite talent. Transfer portal is probably in his future sooner than later.

I totally agree with Haywarduc. There is no guarantee that moving to a different conference is the cure and there is not much track record of success. There are so many variables to consider which Oklahoma, Texas, usc, and UCLA are about to find out. I do think however that the pack needs to address the situation and get some more power to the pack in the form of Additional teams. Waiting to long could be the final hole in the ship.

It’s my opinion that our track team need the two sprinters more than our football team needs them. Though our football team can always use speed. Hopefully when can get both.

The pack 12 has been at the forefront for lack of vision, we will see if it continues. Sitting back and waiting is the worst business model. Great way to go broke.

I’ve always thought that Dana was more suited to coaching players up rather than trying to get these 5 stars to play to their ability. I just wonder if all these injuries to our bigs through the years is more depression related than actual pain. The desire to play comes from the heart and some of these kids just don’t have it. To be honest most of us don’t like to play defense in basketball. It’s way easier to play offense and is much less work. Dana is a defensive minded coach and if a player can’t get that through his head then he shouldn’t come here in the first place.

MarinoO should do Miami a favor and fire himself.

I remember when Big Ben took a couple pay cuts during his career. One such cut was to keep AB happy. Look how that turned out for the Steelers. It’s a double edged sword for sure. Ben still got his money just spread it out a little. As long as corporate America gets to deduct the sponsorship of teams or ticket prices off their income taxes then this mad dash for cash will never stop climbing. It just drives most of us to the television set instead of the stadiums. Even going down to Autzen to watch a game and tailgate is becoming very expensive and the Casual fan is rapidly getting priced out. But Where would we be without Uncle Phil. Guess I’m done ranting.

Hate to say this but if they spend that kind of money on one guy then they may never win a playoff game. I don’t see him handicapping a team like that but who knows. The Chargers need help in a lot of areas. However it works out his family is set for life and then some. Good luck Justin been a blast watching you sling it around.

If he can get a better start when he gets to college coaching look out.

These are my unused tickets for the playoffs. 5 rows from the floor on the end, isle seats. Notice the price of the tickets. We actually got a refund for the unused tickets. Best sporting event my wife and I ever attended. Wonder how much those tickets would cost now days. They raised the cost of the tickets the next season $4 each which priced us out. Not sure why I kept these but they are fun to look at once in a while.

Sad day. Had a couple beers with Bill several years ago at Langdon Farms and he was one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. Blazer fans have lost an icon.

When Pennix is gone we will see how good DeBoer is.

To me this would be a much bigger blow that Dilly leaving. Klemm is a good recruiter.

Cut cable almost 3 years ago and will never go back. I’m in my middle 70s so if a man of my age can do it so can you. I spend that money on something else now. My internet bill included Hulu and Disney+ and is still less than 1/2 what my cable bill was. Comcast is a rip off.

Reminds me of what MC did to Justin. Poor kid got totally freaked out in the fourth qtr. Never can figure out why you would change your defense so much after a great first half. They get wore down every time.

If the coaching staff can somehow coach these studs to put pressure on the QB then next season could be marvelous. This front seven is oozing with potential.

If this doesn’t get our resident starters to be better the we might see a whole new group on the front seven next season. 🤪 I’m getting dizzier than normal.

NCAA football is chaotic because the ncaa has lost control of the situation. A bad experiment gotten worse with obviously no guidance and rules being broken continually.

Hope Justin can pull off a couple wins in the playoffs, he deserves it. It won’t be easy that’s for sure.
