  1. I’m happy so far but trying to get the bad taste of the culture Mc left us and disgruntled players he coached down is hard to turn around. Very few coaches can do it and most of those make millions. We are very fortunate to have the staff we have at this time and if we can hold them all together for a while the future is bright in Eugene. P.S. keep on winning games will help tremendously also.
  2. The media loves this kind of thing and goes out of its way to show it to us. That’s just the facts of life now days and I hate it. Negative Journalism.
  3. I don’t have a tally but it seems like the same offenders way toooo often.
  4. Well maybe the coaching staff needs to take a look at a little discipline. The penalties in the last two games are just a distraction for the fans. This team might be really good but we won’t find out for a bit. The Ducks have penalty issues like that against UCLA, Wash, and Utah they will get thumped.
  5. One thing is for sure. If Bo can’t play the Ducks have some serious issues besides penalties.
  6. My wife and I went to a civil war game at Corvallis years ago. It was pouring rain and the game was nearing the end with the Akili Smith led Ducks in the lead. OSU punted and the return man while running to field it mishandled it and kicked to the Beavs. A few plays later the Beavs tied it up and we lost in overtime. Belotti should have had no one back there to handle that punt because 3 knees and the Ducks would have won. Just an example of what can happen in the punting game. The worst part is the boatta bag didn’t have any wine left in it cause we drank it thinking the game was over. Wettest I have ever been at a Duck game on the outside not the inside.
  7. Probably got something to do with most defenses can’t stop most offenses any more. Ya better be scoring points if you want to be elite in today’s NCAA.
  8. Just red an article on 247 sports. Miami was ranked worst, disappointing, team in the nation. Kinda gave me the chills. Also blew me away. 🤪
  9. It’s pretty clear to me that they can beat anyone in the pack if the ball bounces their way. So the answer is yes. I keep thinking our defense should be way better than it is however. Still time to straighten that out.
  10. Money can buy anything if you have enough of it.
  11. We were way to run happy in the first half when we got into the red zone. If not for last minute hero’s it would of cost us the game. Hard to beat a team of that quality trading field goals for touchdowns. We were extremely lucky.
  12. Isn’t anything better than what we have now? I’m tired of driving to a local pub to watch athletic events in the pack. Can get real expensive.
  13. I know this type of behavior happens at all stadiums but there is no place for it. Oregon fans have always had a reputation for this kind of thing and it should not be acceptable behavior, ever. The offending parties should be banned from attending athletic events , given serious reprimand and put on probation by the University. We seriously do not need this kind of distraction and is offending to the university and our athletes. Sad part is the damage is done and can’t be fixed with apologies.
  14. If the Ducks play either team at home they will smoke em. On the road might be a little harder. Next weeks on on the road against WSU will tell us what we need to know.
  15. Bo needs to not be so eager to leave the pocket, when he does it pretty much cuts the field in half or less. He will have a better opportunity for long passes if he surveys the entire field. Throwing while running is difficult even for the best QBs. Watching some of his games at Auburn he was forced out of the pocket way too often and it has become a bad habit that is hard to break. Stay in the pocket a little longer and let your receivers Separate. Plant your feet and throw you will cut down the interceptions. Trust your offensive line.
  16. It’s Bo’s job until he proves otherwise. I saw little excitement out of TT when he got his chance and the robot comment is pretty much what I was thinking while he was in. Body language is very important and his teammates can sense it better than anyone, even the coaches.
  17. This is exactly the type of news I was waiting for. Add a few teams to the pack and we will compete just fine. There is revenue out there if the pack can make the correct moves on expansion and attract some quality programs to the mix. Thanks for the glimmer of hope Smith.
  18. To be honest I was not a big Herbert fan in college, even though he had a big arm, but now that I’ve seen what an NFL coach can do with talent I have to swallow every negative comment I made. The blame definitely goes to little m little c. Kid is a baller. I am now making bets on this kid. Hope Evans is back soon. Thursday night will be a big one.
  19. Tight ends have been under utilized for quite some time. Time to see much more of this. mc didn’t know tight ends were on the field, only good for blocking.
  20. We lost to the best team in the nation. We beat a below average team with average play. Bo can’t wait to leave the pocket therefore throws a lot of iffy passes on the run and has yet to be sacked. Our receivers look above average after catching the ball. Our DBs play too far off receivers. Our underneath coverage is really quite awful. Flowe is relentless and Noah seems to have regressed. Our best 2 backs didn’t get involved till late in the game. Ty Thompson can wing it. Which we all knew. We will learn more next week playing a team with almost as equal talent.
