  1. I may be proven wrong but I believe our running back room is already filled with better backs. Sewell did run the ball in high school but not sure DL would go that route. I remember Colt running the ball a few times, kid was a stud. To bad life went bad for him.
  2. I’ve watched a fair amount of Bo Nix film and it seemed to me the pocket around him collapsed pretty fast. He was running for his life most of the time. It was genius for DL to bring in Bo to face the Dogs rather than throwing our two young guns to the Wolves, I mean Dogs, for their first college start in a hostile environment. Bo has seen this many times so he is their best option out of the gate. If he doesn’t get the job done a loss to Georgia isn’t going to ruin the Ducks season. What a great way to start the new guy against Eastern Washington at home before a date with BYU. I may be reaching to high to think Bo will change but I have confidence that he can win in the pack. He did beat Alabama once and how many QBs are 500 against That group. A large portion of his losses are against highly ranked teams and Auburn has struggled with coaching changes his whole career so at least he has a familiar face in Dillingham. I will drink🍸the Kool-Aid 😉😉 on this one.
  3. In this new offense I am convinced we will see more misdirection with the usage of the tight ends standing in the end zone wide open cause no one picked them up. Would be fun to watch.
  4. It’s pretty amazing to me that the biggest athletic event, in history, in any sport in the state of Oregon just happened and our results on the national stage have not kept up. We have the best facilities possibly in the world. Hopefully a new staff can turn it around. I would think a quality track program would have jumped at the chance to steal some of the nations best that participated at the event and performed at these facilities. If we don’t accomplish this then I will wonder where our track program is headed. Hopefully Phil’s money was not wasted because Mullins did not look ahead. This is one sport that the Ducks should dominate no matter where we land because of football.
  5. Let’s face it, baseball is all about pitching and we were a little shy on that one to compete with the big boys. Improve that aspect of our roster and winning will become much easier.
  6. It also depends on where the refs are from if we expect to win this game. We could get homered.
  7. It’s great to see a young man striving to fulfill a lifelong dream. Good luck to you young man, it’s great to get some happy news for a change in the world of college football. Lately there hasn’t been much.
  8. Very sad. Watched him and Wilt go at it many times. A great all around player.
  9. There will be plenty of opportunity to pick up solid running backs, or anything else for that matter, in the portal next season. I’m with Mistertea on this one. Would have been nice to pluck this kid out from under mc’s nose however.
  10. I blame mc for our injury plagued season last year. When you have a conservative offense you don’t get a big enough lead to get your starters off the field in the second half of games. Defensive players were on the field entirely too much and when tired players become weak players injuries occur as we all saw last season. Another negative impact is your backups don’t get the developmental reps that they need to compete in the upcoming season. I am confident that this will not be the case with our new coaching staff.
  11. Wonder how many sacks he might get under DLs havoc defense. I know opposing QBs will have an eye on him. Might be worth an over/under. That’s if your a gambling man.
  12. Going by what we saw at the spring game. Bo Butter Ty if Bo does well against the Dogs, and I believe he will, it will be hard to knock him off QB1.
  13. Most of the talk going around is about posturing and nothing to do with reality. The Ducks, because of Uncle Phil, will be relevant as long as he wants them to be. The college football world still needs a footprint in the northwest and as much as I hate to say it we still need the buttlickers to come back to relevance as soon as next week. We could go it alone but probably not a smart move. UCLA may not be going anywhere and probably can only win games in the pack. So the tv audience that they would take with them would fall apart. At best. Lanning and the coaching and our athletes, weather it be football or tiddlywinks deserve our energy. Not the media.
  14. Won’t be long when these kids will be paying union dues and taking random pee tests. Kids be careful what you ask for. Insurance companies will make your lives miserable.
  15. Thanks for the video F Duck. Clear to me that Bo has a ton of talent. He sees the field well, makes decisions quickly, can make all the throws, doesn’t lock in on one receiver, can run well, and has a strong arm which I saw in the spring game. I believe our offensive line will give a better pocket than he had in the SEC and he won’t be facing a pass rush like he saw from LSU, Alabama, Florida, ex ex. That being said the only knock I’ve heard is he throws picks at the wrong time, not that any time is a good time. If he can clean that up we have a gem in the making. In the Pack he should do extremely well and I know, along with the rest of our Fishduck family, that this season has the potential to be something to remember. Go 🦆🦆🦆s
  16. If UCLA is forced to stay in the pack then adding SDSU would make sense. Pick up a couple schools from Texas, maybe BYU would be a start.
  17. The way the portal is now I feel sorry for the coaches. Any reduction would help.
  18. Bama just picked up their RB which could be good for the Ducks.
  19. Can we kick the the condoms and UCLA out now and get it over with. See what kind of last minute scheduling they would be able to get. 😂
  20. Well, he definitely clogs up the middle and has pretty strong hands. Looks like potential is there but needs a lot of work. Good project for our D line coach. Can’t teach size and he definitely has it.
  21. Heartbreaking news. So sorry for his families loss. Way to young to be taken.😥😥😥
  22. Let’s be honest here. The last four year we had a coaching staff that had no idea how to get the best out of their quarterbacks and it looked like they didn’t care. Helfrich let a Heisman winner get away that wanted to be a Duck. Sabin didn’t care about his academics. With Dilly and DL at the helm I trust things will smooth out, at least I hope so.
