Oregon Won’t Become Georgia Overnight
Just Ducky replied to FishDuck Article's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Will the Ducks be good this year? Yes. Will they have a better offense than Georgia? Maybe. Will they have a better defense than Georgia? Not likely. Will they be favored in most of their games? Probably. Will the coaching staff get more out of our players? Without a doubt. Will they win more games than Georgia? Possibly. I don’t think Georgia will be as good as last year and I think the Ducks probably will be better. Going to be an interesting start of the season traveling east to start the season against the defending champs. My money is on the Ducks and the points. Go s -
The Ducks just added a QB. Not sure what that means. But to me someone must be leaving. Oregon Ducks add commitment from FCS QB transfer WWW.OREGONLIVE.COM Van Dyne played at Liberty North High (Mo.) in under coach Greg Jones, who is now an analyst at Oregon.

It will also be fun to watch the o-line get off the ball against defenses that don’t know what play is coming ahead of time. If we Duck fans knew what play was coming the opposing defense knew it as well.

CJ Carr to Notre Dame Overshadowed by ‘Redshirting?’
Just Ducky replied to FishDuck Article's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
It’s pretty obvious to me that some states don’t give a crap about player safety. The difference between the body maturity between a sophomore and a senior is ginormous. For baseball and track I see no problem but for football it should not be allowed. Period. -
Puzzling year for our track teams. We don’t seem to be getting the blue chippers like in the past.

Can’t drive one of those without a mink coat. Dare him to show up in the locker room with that on. -
Bo Nix’s Picks: Can You Live With Them?
Just Ducky replied to FishDuck Article's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Also keep in mind Bo was brought here for two years not one. Lot of talk all about him grooming Ty And Butters for 2023. If they can’t crack the lineup this year does anyone think that both those guys will be here for 2023. Myself thinks not unless Bo is standing on the podium in New York or is heading for the pros. -
Bo Nix’s Picks: Can You Live With Them?
Just Ducky replied to FishDuck Article's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Bo will be Bo but I will take that. We we all know he will not be facing SEC defenses in the pack. Against Georgia, the best defense in the land, he had 2 picks in three games. His teams rushed for less than 50 yards in 2 of the 3. In the 3rd Bo was their leading rusher. Guess my my point is bo was playing on a team with allot of weaknesses and he was forced to carry the load while running for his life. Picks were inevitable. Bo will have some bumps along the way as will the entire team. But the Ducks offer him more weapons, a coach he knows from his best year, and a defense that should give him easier opportunities than at Auburn. Game 1 will be a rough one but he and his coaches know Georgia as well as anyone so if he is the competitor I think he is he will be up to the challenge. As far as the number of picks goes 5 is acceptable 10 if they win every game -
Where Ducks Offensive Line Stands Heading Into Summer
Just Ducky replied to Smith72's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
The only thing I can see is a huge improvement over our last few years. The smoke blown up our butts about MC and his ground and pound idea of what an offensive line should look like was a huge disappointment for all of us. The Ducks have had many great offensive lines in the past and under the new regime I believe it will be good again. I’ve been a Pittsburgh fan since grade school and they have had some great offensive lines but last year they were pretty bad. I’m hoping it was a talent problem more than a coaching issue. They did loose some studs however. Hard to replace one of the best centers ever in the NFL. -
Oregon Will Not Pay Top-NIL for QBs: Should They?
Just Ducky replied to FishDuck Article's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I to like a conservative approach. There are hundreds of examples of money not buying the best team. Although the QB is the most important player on the team because he is the one starting every play and making the correct decision on the direction of the play. After the ball is snapped the importance of keeping him upright and having open receivers to get the ball to becomes critical. If your defense can’t stop the other team from scoring then your 5 star million dollar guy may not be the answer. Not sure we will see Nick or Kirby in a bidding war for one player. My point is you can’t put all the eggs in one basket. Our National champions every year are all examples of a well rounded teams. That recipe for success is the one I would use. -
Not sure we need this guy unless he is a down to the earth kid. We have five stars on the roster now and I am not sure how impressed I am. MC held one back and we may never see Ty take a meaningful snap as a Duck because of his pathetic all about me style of coaching. Not sure why Ty has hung around unless he knows he was overrated. And maybe nobody has dialed his number.

It’s a great business plan for sure.

Diamond Ducks Days Dwindle in 8-6 Loss to Michigan

When your first 3 hitters get one hit and score no runs, well that is not a recipe for success. -
Noah Sewell Headlines Oregon Defense at Money Backer
Just Ducky replied to Smith72's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
We should have an over/under on how many players, including himself, he knocks senseless or out during the season. My guess is 7. -
It’s uncanny how Payton seems to always be in the correct place for rebounds. Because of his size he is at a distinct disadvantage but seems to overcome it time after time. He definitely goes 100% every second he is on the floor and never gets tired. Going to be a great player off the bench for a long time.

How Oregon Football Will EXPLODE Offensively in 2022
Just Ducky replied to FishDuck Article's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Bo stats are against SEC defenses so it’s pretty hard to compare him with AB. The eye test was pretty bad when evaluating AB. Guy couldn’t hit the side of a barn at times and his throws were almost always late. He was extremely slow to make his reads for sure. -
Is McGee Oregon’s Next Position-less Superstar?
Just Ducky replied to FishDuck Article's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I think we pretty much all agree with you Josh. This element is a huge advantage in college football. I think our new staff realizes his talent and will make sure Seven gets his chances to display that ability. Best thing that could of happened for Seven was when MC walked out the door, thank god. You can’t coach speed and quickness and he seems to have both. Must of been frustrating to have talent only to use it keeping the bench warm. -
Can Someone Tell Me "WHY" a Conference Tournament?
Just Ducky replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Got to have something to do with money. Oh wait it does. Absolutely no reason to burn pitchers arms up at the end of a grueling season. Most of the guys that dream this crap up never played sports past the 9th grade. The Ducks would have a huge turnout compared to Louisville. Seems crazy for sure. -

I agree hobbas, never was I impressed with MC’s o line. Plus the play rarely went with the blocking scheme. Dye was good at improvising to get most of his yards. I hope Klemm nfl experience will help these young men develop beyond high school ability. -

Don’t want to be here then don’t waste the coaches energy. Thank you.
