I never go to the restroom at half-time. My seat is not too far from a tunnel, so I can dash down and back during one of the longer commercial breaks, and thanks to that guy on the field with the electronic sign, I know how long the break will be.

Lanning might not have wanted Miami....

A Great Win ... But What's Going on With Ty Thompson?
Annie replied to Mic's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
He looks overwhelmed to me, as if he still hasn't made the adjustment emotionally from playing in high school to playing in college. I may be reading that wrong, of course. Hope that sooner rather than later everything just clicks for him so that he would be comfortable managing playing time. -
Since the rule changed to getting the ball on the 25 yard line instead of the 20, it seems to make sense in most cases to take the fair catch. I remember in the past that while there were certainly some big run backs, often the Ducks would get to the 22, 23, or 24 yard lines, which while better than starting at the 20, now one can start on the 25 without the risky run back.

Here's some info on injured Duck players, including Cardwell: Oregon Football: Dan Lanning Provides Injury Updates Before Facing UCLA Bruins - Sports Illustrated Oregon Ducks News, Analysis and More WWW.SI.COM The latest news on the injury front out of Eugene.

Sportsmanship, but also playing it safe. I think it's probably quite rare to fumble the ball when taking a knee.

The families can sit inside the Moshofsky and watch (and maybe the recruits, if they want to, I'm not sure), but usually the recruits are seated together near the field next to the student section.

I hope Oregon is allowed to lend rain gear to the recruits and their families!

What Do You Think of the Pink Theme for UCLA Game?
Annie replied to Flaps2's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I don't have a pink jacket or sweatshirt and it will probably be a little too chilly for a T-shirt, so I may wear little pink ribbon or something like that. I think instead of creating some sort of pink uniform for the game, put a pink sticker on the helmets and donate the money saved by not creating new uniforms go to the cause. -
I wonder if TT is like an actor who is great in rehearsals, but gets stage fright when he performs in front of a live audience?

Ducks’ Offense: Is There a ‘Slim Shady’ Attitude at Oregon?
Annie replied to FishDuck Article's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
For all the analysis, this is what stood out for me: "This Dillingham offense is fun for Duck fans to watch." Truer words were never spoken. -
Didn't a bunch of OK players follow Riley to USC?

Did YOU Like Our Uniforms vs Stanford?
Annie replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Could have done without the cummerbund, but otherwise loved the look. The actual green & yellow Duck colors--what a concept! -
To me TT looks like a little brother who hasn't yet caught up to his big brother on the field. But maybe sooner rather than later things will just click for him. Hope so!

There probably weren't that many there. Season ticket seats are counted as part of the attendance, even if the ticket holders don't attend. I didn't go and my tickets didn't sell, but those seats would still count toward total attendance at the game.

AP & Coaches Polls...Look at the Comparison
Annie replied to Pennsylvania Duck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
If the Ducks keep winning, I'll be happy and not worry (too much) about the polls. -
I am Surprised at the Wolfing and Showboating...Are You?
Annie replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I don't like it and was surprised by it in this game. The first four games I'd thought the Ducks had done a pretty good job of "celebrating with their teammates." I hope Lanning quickly and firmly steers them back in that direction. -
WOW, What if the Pac 12 Went All-in with Amazon
Annie replied to Steven A's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Well, I don't have a smart TV, so I'm hoping Duck games will still be on the stations that I can already view without one. Yes, I am technologically challenged.
