Just wondering--looks as if this is from 2.5 years ago. What was the outcome?

As I remember, Jed Weaver and Wesley Mallard were both walk-ons. They both had a lot of heart, were great players for the Ducks, and then went on and played in the pros.

I've seen it in person and am still not a fan. We all have different tastes, I guess.

If Nix becomes the starter and can help the Ducks build a good lead in games, I hope that Lanning will be happy to let the other QBs get into the game at some point too.

That's why I tend to think it was a token offer, maybe to satisfy former players that an offer had been made, but without much chance that it would be accepted.

I've always thought the new court was too busy with all those trees, and I don't like the color either. Hardwood can be so beautiful--just keep the paint to a minimum and let it shine.

His twitter account still shows him in Duck colors, if that counts for anything.

Lot and lots of favorites (White Christmas, Come All Ye Faithful, Jingle Bell Rock, Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree). I'm hoping this means that Lanning may get the running game back to days of LaMichael and DeAnthony, where we'd see the RB rip off 10, 20, 30 or more yards on a regular basis. Yes, I'd like to see the passing game be wide open, but a long run is a thing of beauty too.

In regard to this, I felt that there were too many personal fouls/unsportsmanlike penalties. I hope Lanning will run a tighter ship in that respect.
