  1. When the SEC schedules easy ooc games, it's great. But if PAC-12 schedules such teams, suddenly it counts against them for strength of schedule.
  2. Exactly. But I'll bet lots of Duck fans would drive/fly to Vegas. Not sure about Georgia fans.
  3. Yes, technically correct. So maybe an SEC team will play Oregon at a neutral site such as Las Vegas?

  5. This is probably a mom point of view, but one could also say that Saban didn't prepare the backups well enough....just sayin'.
  6. The Pick Beating USC on Halloween Oregon beating TX 35-30 in the 2000 Holiday Bowl.
  7. I remember one year Bellotti saying that USC had the best players, but that they didn't play as a unit.
  8. Sounds like a lot of good vibes!
  9. I hope it does play out that Oregon will be on Game Day twice!
  10. It was at South Florida, 2016, just before he came to Oregon (assuming I read all this correctly!).
  11. Well, just before he came to Oregon Willie Taggart did have a 10-2 season, but the previous 6 years he had a 30-48 record, and lot of people were excited about WT coming here.
  12. Duck Spring Practice Schedule The 15th practice is after the spring game.
  13. I agree, he will be a great one. I believe Hollins did spend 5 seasons at Oregon, and had been a red-shirt senior, though maybe he could have stayed another year if he chose to due to the covid-shortened season?
  14. I think Lanning reaching out to former players (and coaches, should he do so) is a good thing. I imagine he listens to them and then sifts through what they say for whatever information he thinks will help him understand the past, benefit the present, and plan for the future.

  16. I keep an eye on the scores, and it's always fun to learn something about the players.
  17. Promising, but, yes, way too early. With the Ducks having a whole new coaching staff and a quarterback who will never have started a game for the Ducks I find it difficult to have any idea of how Oregon will do next season. NCAA.com Releases Way-Too-Early College Football Preseason Top 25
  18. How long did the last minute take? 10 minutes? 15?
  19. Omigosh, on the Damon Amandolara radio program this morning they were getting positively orgasmic over the Trojans, also predicting that they would be in the playoffs next year, and on and on and on....
  20. I suppose there could be a remote possibility that MC is waiting to talk to someone at the Bengals or Rams, but I kind of doubt it.
  21. On the rare occasion that I bet, I bet with my heart--so I'll say "yes," Joe Burrow can score a trifecta.
  22. Those tall O-Linemen might have to work harder to get their center of gravity lower than the defenders, though. "It's all about leverage."
  23. I think the defensive players should not celebrate until they've stopped the other team, whether by forcing a punt, stopping on 4th down, creating a fumble, or by interception. Many times, with teams both college and professional, we've seen a great defensive play on first or second down, only to be followed by the opponent then getting a first down. And even when the defense has prevailed, they should celebrate with their teammates, not by trash talking.
