More like "look at my gold watch" guys. Those "stars" under Prime are no role model to anyone. Seeing how they choke against BYU really put a smile on my face. It also shows how ridiculous it is to award the Heisman before bowl/PO games. I wonder where Hunter would land now after that embarrassing CU loss. Heisman Trophy needs to put more weight on team performance.

Wow. I have been following Tulane football because one of my daughters goes there. Hughes would be a real asset for OBD, or anyone who gets him. Too bad for Tulane as their Offensive squad is now decimated, with pretty much only TT left that nobody wants... But I am liking this Green Waves - OBD connection. We can certainly feed and help each other.

This. It is hard to get full respect until we win it all, probably more than once. That's how big-time sport is. I am very excited that we are getting close yet again. It would be great if we win it all this year. But if not, there is always next year, as we will be in the PO every year. Fortunately I got a few more years than Uncle Phil, so I know for sure I will get to see OBD with the Natty in my life time!

Can't agree more on Evan Stewart, Mr. Fishduck! Our O coaches have really seemed blind to this talent that we have. Like I said, we need to run more vertical passes instead of lateral. That will be critical to stay with tOSU as they have 2-3 talented receivers and a long-bomb thrower. I hope our D plays as aggressive as the first match-up, but the O may have to carry the day again this time around.

I think Stein is good, but I do wish that he would call fewer lateral passes and more vertical passes. I know it depends on the match-up, but I was surprised to see that he didn't call more run plays against PSU in the 2nd half of the B1G CCG, when we had lots of success. Instead plays after plays of lateral passes went nowhere and kept the opposing team closer than they should've been... Hope he will truly out-coach Chip in the Rose Bowl!

I agree with Mr Fishduck. In the end of day, CFB is all about winning nowadays. We have to do whatever it takes to keep winning. The question always is "Is there a portal QB that's much better than what we already got in-house?" Not sure that answer is a resounding yes this year, yet. Should someone like Quinn Ewer jump into the portal, it will become much more interesting. Tough balance for the DL to strike, that's for sure.

What if nobody wants him? How does that work? Can he go back to Tulane and still get the scholarship? Seems risky at this point to lose that from a good school. Agree with Mr. Fishduck that that his best shot is getting a degree and a job like the rest of us.

I like Nick Saban's suggestion in the show yesterday that teams play more conference games in lieu of the CCG. Changing the PO ranking by Conf Champ based on that one game is stupid and unfair, especially in the age of only 2 real power conferences. But look at it this way, we have 2 teams in the former/real Pac-12 that made it to the top 4! How about that!

UGA does have decent backup QBs. So this may not be a huge problem for them. Remember the 3rd string guy at tOSU that beat us?

Maybe there shouldn't be CCG any more in this era of playoffs. You don't see that in NFL. It's really not necessary, except to give the 2nd best conference team a chance, but they already had 12 chances!

Was happy to finally see Moore play some meaningful snaps last week and he looked sharp. 10x better than the last 5-star that didn't work out for us. But I bet he would transfer out if he doesn't get to start next year. The embarrassment of riches in OBD resources and talent is just astonishing!

To me, seeing Miami and Colorado miss the PO is almost as good as OBD getting No. 1 seed.

Unfortunately he will probably win. But I am sure he and Shedeur will both choke in NFL due to their character flaws, not to mention Hunter simply won't last in that league if he tries to play both sides. Whichever teams that draft them will regret.

So relieved for this win. Go Ducks! This kind of win at the end of the season is mark of a great team. Let's beat the fuskies by at least 9 points after the bye, to avenge for the last 2 seasons! Many what-ifs in the game - the main one for me is that INT in the red zone in Q1. I bet the game would've played out very differently if we had scored a TD there instead... That one play really got them going unfortunately. We really got to stop doing that. And another 0-point Q3. Anyone still think this was by design?

Shouldn't we have just run for the TD? They are supposed to be bad at run D. But I am glad that our D is so much better than their O and just got the ball back in no time.
