Oregon/Oregon State Game Score Prediction Contest
JDuck replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
38-34 goof toothed floating bark rodents win...we get 1 take away, 2 sacks, 188 passing yards. Sad to say. -
Great take. MC proves you can recruit to EUG. Now he needs to prove he has the chops to coach the kids up. (And hire good assistants, let them coach etc.) Look at Darren's article today, last 6 years recruiting rankings, OR and UT. What does that tell you? Injuries are a thing this year, we are young, but 38-7? Something tells me if he goes to Gainesville or Miami, he'll have recruiting classes approximately twice as good as here (#3 in a given year instead of #6, 5 instead of 10) even in the SEC...but 10-2 would be 7-5 at best in the SEC. Year 3 and he's gone. Or, he solves that maze and coaches better HERE. 13-0 in the Pac with our talent and say, a better luck injury year...should be normal (errrr...without GA in week 1). But, you make the playoffs regularly. Then, you do what OK can't do...win it

Utah GameDay Thread: Is Pursuing the Playoffs a Crock?

We gotta beat the bark rats or WSU probably wins the north!!! -

But we were out classed at all 3 levels, 38-7? Did not look prepared. I guess Michigan State knows the feeling. Cristobal's "physical" wasn't there on either side of the ball tonight -

MC has hit his ceiling. Don't tell me it's injuries, this is fully out coached by a great coach. 3x best Pac recruiting class means nothing if you don't coach them up. Could finish 12-2 but bark rats gotta be smelling blood. Get to the Rose and a B1G team will destroy us. Pittman leaving not a good sign. If AB is our best chance to win this year, future not so bright. ABs 2 yard throws, and under thrown and over thrown 1st downs is pathetic, sorry. Delay if game again? Just not prepared. MC will not bring us a natty -
Ducks win 38-28, 3 take aways, 5 sacks, 174 passing yards

Is The Committee Going to Jump the Buck's over the Ducks This Week?
JDuck replied to 30Duck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I don't think it matters, if we win out, we are in. We lose one, we are playing for the Rose Bowl and likely have to beat Utah in Vegas, lose that either way, and it's Alamo or Holiday at best, even if we are 11-2. Beating Utah twice won't be easy but the run game, D, much fewer penalties...despite injuries we are starting to peak at the right time. Can't wait for next year, but this year is not done yet...just hope we don't need AB to make many throws down the field, but I sure hope he can find some 10-12 yard completions instead of 1-2 yards when it's 3rd and 9... -
Don't blame him for going for the points, they should have been flagged for 15 though because of the fans on the field...

I can't tell you how impressed I am with Byron Cardwell

Thought I read last summer Ashford is going to drop baseball and focus on football? -

I hope the WR's are seeing promise in either Ty, Robbie, or Jay during practice. If AB was the QB of the future, I think more than 2 WR's would bolt! I hope the passing side of the RPO will be prolific next year whoever is the QB. A strong rushing attack is always foundational, and AB had a couple nice throws down the field last night, but how many that were from 0 to 2 yard with a defender draped all over him...on 3rd and long? -

Used to be a coin flip...get a FG it's over, now, they get a FG, you get the ball at least once -

I like it. New 2 point thing is fine. NFL is better now but still like college format way better -
Cost us a natty in '12

It won't matter if we don't win out. We win out, we probably get in. B1G has some big head-to-heads coming up, Big 12 as well. Alabama could lose to Georgia (seems likely?) and Cincinnati, who knows...1-0 each week is a the right idea right now for us. WSU will not be easy, I don't need to mention Utah. The bark rats, at Autzen, revenge on our minds...I'm not as worried about that. Beating Utah twice?

Most EVER Playoff Pressure on Cristobal and Oregon Fans?

I got a rechargeable home defibrillator pretty cheap on ebay. Used it 37 times now during Duck 4th quarters this season -

And in Seattle, it looked like we tried to score when we could have taken a knee, too bad Cardwell didn't get in. Two weeks in a row MC tried to pour it on just a bit. I don't get how any coach would NOT want to win by at least 3 scores every week. Maybe he gets it now? I hope so. As someone else stated, #3 in then land should MOP THE FLOOR WITH WSU. I believe against the perpil pooch muttts that was the first time we beat the spread all year when favored? We are like 13.5 against the kitties, I hope we win by at least 21 but I'm not a betting man. Those of you who know me know I won't disgrace the word "mutt" by spelling it correctly in reference to the team up north, same with the word purple, which can be a nice color in the right context. Or, maybe my spelling is not intentionally incorrect, but I"m just trying to show how much more academically prowesserer we is than wushingtin. Dubbs Down LOL -
We really don't look prepared on offense, the defense once again is the only thing saving us. I hate to say it but I don't know if this staff no of this staff can't get us where we want to go but we want to go. Brown looked good at home, in good weather, against...Colorado. can't make reads, can't throw. Put in Ty now, get ready for next year, we might finish 7-5

Oregon Uniform for the Washington Game

Helf was a great QB coach as well...he was a good one himself. Chip brought him in because he was good at more of a pro style, and Chip said he didn't need a spread guy, he WAS the spread guy. Helf learned a lot about the spread and took it forward with our greatest ever QB and maybe best player ever. Helf was not the CEO type, nor the recruiting guru. Under Mario he wouldn't need to be.
