  1. Oh, and I still can't believe our Uncle hasn't funded an INDOOR facility that would be prime to host WORLDS in Eugene
  2. He helped us become more of a sprint program but we won the Pac this year again both men and women, and then did WHAT at nationals? We have WHAT for a facility? Uncle WHO and WHAT company for top notch T&F exposure? A company founded by a T&F athlete alum...did he have any say in this you think? It does feel like it's time for a change
  3. Well good for him...nothing like going 8-4 at best for a couple years before NFL money arrives.
  4. Probably doesn't see immediate playing time. We'll land a good one next year if not another good one this year
  5. Thank you for not bannering this in purple
  6. The E(SEC)PN rankings have never shown any bias...
  7. Kicks me out to the forum front page. It's ok he'll always be Mari Cristbal to me
  8. maybe the glasses will make them think I'm more smarterer
  9. One thing about Lanning, while they had talent on the roster already, he took them to a historically #1 rated Defense in just a couple years. As much as I disliked Tosh when he was with Cal, and even less with the perpil pooch mutts, he's a top recruiter and smart D coach, and the rest of the D coaches will DEVELOP players, something as Joshua points out, was a weak point under Mari Cristbal. KD and the offensive assistants will be great in all these aspects as well, development, recruiting, scheme...a couple top classes (which seem to be brewing already) and a Natty may be like the stupid right side mirrors on cars...closer than it appears. I hope so of course!
  10. At least this post wasn't purple for mutts sake
  11. don't get carried away, and Huck the Fuskies always
  12. Yeah kinda bummed, T&F is our bread and butter, we all love football and MBB and WBB and the success the last 20 years, I hope we win it all in all the above, softball and baseball too, volleyball...but we won the Pac 12 again at least, but several Pac 12 schools look like they could finish above us in both Men's and Women's. The bark rats have 2 in the women's steeple final...they haven't scored a point at nationals in women's since 1986 (!) Our sprints are better than our distance? Losing the distance coaching couple to the perpil pooch mutts up north was gag-barfy. Oh, no more purple banners on this forum, please. I gotta go lie down
  13. One of the guys, I forget which letter he was, was absent much of the game so they couldn't even spell BEAVERS. He probably was already frozen, or on the floor drunk passed out
  14. NIL and the Portal are problems. Unlimited officials will be too. What about, a kid gets 10, a school gets 112? Lanning hinted at the loss of time with their families for coaches. Those guys all work insane hours as it is, but those 5* kids from SEC country, this is the way to get more of them to Eugene. Some may just want to see the world's best facilities, but some will see Oregon as a legit contender, and we may end up getting more of those type of elite recruits. I already see this staff as coaches who can DEVELOP the players, which Mari Cristbal and staff didn't seem to do. The schemes will be WAY better, which = wins. We'll see this fall. A big season with the existing talent could reap huge reward for the class of '23, let alone classes down the road. Development will make kids believe OREGON will be as good as anywhere to help get to the League. Playing for natty's doesn't hurt either.
  15. A favorite road game, and that video is one of my all time faves too...I've sent the link to many a beever buddy over the years...years after. That Darron Thomas pass on the trick play...it gave me chills, I knew the kid would be good. I knew it.
  16. Can't hurt a program like Oregon, to get more of the 5 stars from SEC country up. Cost and family life...Lanning mentioned there could be less of a break. What about making it 8 or 10 instead of 5?
  17. Funny, I always seemed to struggle to get to "normal heights" when using any brand of condom.
  18. For the hundredth time, it's cool but get some yellow AND green on there. Put a yellow O on the hip on each side, a tad more prominent green outlining the numbers or something, yellow facemask...
  19. A few of those should be higher? Doesn't matter, go prove it on the field this fall. Good coaching, good system, only question is can we beat GA in week 1 on the road?
  20. Your last questions in the article are intriguing. Would we be set up for success that seems to be on the horizon now had VA not broken his finger? VA was an absolute magician. We would have beaten MSU (in East Lansing) by 2 TDs. The WSU game never even gets close to OT. I'm not certain we lose to Utah, but either way yes we're probably 12-1 and lose to Alabama, but not shut out like MSU. The Alamo never happens. If it still did, no concussion and that never gets to OT. (Or Doug Brenner makes fewer horrid snaps and maybe we still win). Yes, Dennis Dixon doesn't hurt his knee that was probably a Heismann and Natty. Crap 12 refs don't blow a review, and 2012 probably a Natty. VA may have gone to New York if not hurt, but McCaffrey got absolutely robbed to not win the Heismann that year. Derrick Henry was good but it paled compared to McCaffrey that year.
  21. The Crap 12 refs make a correct call (during a review with obvious video evidence!!!) and we probably win the Natty in 2012...forget the block (or lack thereof)
  22. I was there, it's still in my mind. That beever safety getting leveled LOL
  23. What's interesting is the Grizz record when Ja plays vs. when he's out injured. There were some other stats they showed the other night along those lines. They seem to be a better team without him. They are a young, talented team. I wonder if they should let Ja bolt, and take that cap money and get better chemistry piece or two, a veteran leader still in his prime at the right position.
  24. 5 stars on both lines, blazing speed and skill on the edges, in the backfields, at LB. Serious depth, NFL futures. A decent QB could = nat-ty!
