  1. Clickbait for sure. However this is what Jon Joseph has been saying all year. Ain't that right Jon??
  2. So, according to #2 above, the conference champion of the B1G would earn the conference $4M + $4M just for winning the conference and going to its first game win or lose = $8M. If they win the quarter and the semi to end up in the NCG, it's another $12M for a total of $20M. Said team would also get a direct payment of $3M for each game played = $9M to play in the NCG. If the B1G puts 4 teams in the playoffs, it is a minimum of $20M even if they all lose their first game ($8M for the conference champ and 3 x $4M for the rest). Depending on seeding, if the 4 teams win every game until they would have to play each other in the semi's, ending with 2 B1G teams in the NCG, the maximum payout to the B1G would be $68M ($16M + $16M + $24M + $12M).
  3. Wait! I'm 6' tall and 227lbs!!!! I look down and all I see is a butterball. 🤯
  4. Seemed to me like he said that if PSU could score more points than the Ducks, they MIGHT win.
  5. Amazing to me that Riggs is just a freshman... and a former 3*. Even the best recruiting teams take 3 stars. I like the way Dan is doing it.
  6. Sounds like he'll fit right in here. ...and we won't use the word prowess here much either.
  7. I kind of liked the Cascade Clash when it was mentioned on TV. It sounded appropriate.
  8. I only got to see most of the 1st half because of having to go to work, and I don't remember seeing him get a target. This is what I was expecting most of all in the first half. He was probably VERY effective in being a decoy. With Tez on the field, the defense had to put one of their best guys on him... naturally opening up more space for Stewart, Holden and Ferguson. It worked well. Tez is a monster whether or not he is targeted.
  9. Great article. I am remembering in Lanning's first year (I think), that in a press conference he answered a question about his own self-education and what he does to better his football IQ. One of the things he said is that any time he hears of a trick play being called anywhere - college or high school - that he gets film of it to study it. What a great idea!
  10. How hot would Ryan Day's seat be if he lost to Dan Lanning by one point... three times this year???
  11. Just so that their loss in the first round will look all the more dramatic.
  12. All we have to do to make this a bitter rivalry and become "the team out west" is beat anOSU a few more times in a row. (...and to always refer to them as anOSU)
  13. Any team that goes 11-1 in the B1G, playing 9 conference games deserves a playoff spot. There are no cupcakes in the B1G. The SEC replaces one conference game with a cupcake game. That's my opinion.
  14. I've been rooting for Indiana all year to beat anOSU. They've had enough time to jell. If they win, there is NO WAY Indiana jumps Oregon who has beaten anOSU as well as other ranked teams... ESPECIALLY since Indiana will have a chance to prove it is better than Oregon the very next week in the Conference Championship Game.
  15. They should always try to put the top 2 contenders from the same conference in opposite sides of the bracket.
  16. They are running into a brick wall. Looks like Mari....
