  1. You got the decimal point in the wrong place. 10 miles, 100 miles... 1000???
  2. Oregon 42-10 3 TO's 6 sacks 320 yards
  3. Regarding NW pre-injury vs. NW post-injury... I've had an ACL repair surgery, and there is NO WAY someone can be 100% back to pre-injury condition in only a year. I'm surprise he is doing as well as he is. His knee still has room for improvement.
  4. Bassa said before the season that the B1G will have to adjust to our physicality (or something to that effect). That was a very risky thing to say, as we had to deliver or be a laughingstock. Two plays: 1) The refs didn't see (I'm assuming) that the receiver did not have control of the ball when he hit the ground, and Bassa wrestled the ball away from him - a very impressive show of physicality. 2) Harmon wrestled the ball out of the runner's hands as they were falling to the turf. That's physicality that tOSU was unprepared for. Last physicality observation: The Ducks were more physical in the trenches on both sides of the ball the whole game. tOSU and the rest of the B1G need to beef up a bit more to deal with the Ducks' physicality. The Ducks seem to be holding their own on the physicality front.
  5. From a marketing standpoint, this is EXACTLY what we wanted. We openly pushed for the moniker "That team out west". "That team up north" is used because tOSU hates Michigan so much that they refuse to say their name. It's what we asked for. If we keep beating tOSU, someday we might get it. Does the B1G regret inviting us in yet??? Buyer's remorse??? They got a deal when they bought us for only half shares.
  6. Nowhere close to "It could have gone either way" when it was a total blow out. Howard's quote is close to "It could have gone either way". If he would have said that, he would have been right.
  7. I don't know. It looks like LOVE. "Am I leading, or are you?"
  8. This was my thought exactly. Against any of our previous opponents, those balls are not intercepted. Especially the second one. They were both lights out plays by the Spartans. When they happened, I thought that perhaps DG was surprised, thinking he had good throws. And I thought that he is now aware that DBs can be a lot better than what he has seen.
  9. Oregon 41-17 1 TO 3 Sacks 307 Passing Yards
  10. When I saw it, I thought it made sense. If DG goes down, Novosad is the backup to Dante. Give him the experience of receiving a couple of hikes, a hand off and a knee in front of a live audience. If he is #3, he will not get any meaningful snaps in a real game unless Dillon and Dante both go down. Give him at least a LITTLE experience with the TV cameras on.
  11. Oregon 52-13 1 turnover 5 sacks 387 passing Lemonade
  12. Of course, that 98 was AFTER the Beavers shut them out 21-0. I watched the game and the Beavers played very well on both sides of the ball. SDS is definitely not where they have been historically, hence, the new head coach. SDS will be back. They were a hair and a whisker away from joining the PAC-12. They still might. They are down right now and the Beavers took advantage.
  13. I noticed the B1G network had "Football in 60" just a couple of days after the games. Since I have to work during the game, I decided to hope for "Football in 60" to record later so I can watch it. Also, someone a week or so ago said that the game would be available later, either on the B1G network or the B1G app. Any confirmation on that????
  14. I was mostly disappointed with the O-Line play, particularly, that of Cornelius. He didn't play like one of the best tackles in the country. ¿TWO illegal formation penalties? That is something that won´t happen again. Also, WAY to many sacks. Right now, the O-Line is a weakness. I don´t think we should underestimate how good Idaho´s defense is. They are ranked 7th in the country in their division. They will no doubt be rated higher this week. We've heard experts say for years that the biggest jump that a team makes during the season is between the first and second weeks. Oregon now has an opportunity to prove that thesis.
  15. Ducks Vs Them, Season II. Same Duck time. Same Duck channel... Stay tuned.
  16. I've been watching some games from last year, and Ty played very well.
  17. I can hear the fear now: "The last guy that didn't listen to D. Lenoir got fired a week later." Maybe DL will make a great coach someday.
  18. I noticed that Liberty got more votes than Washington.
  19. Hopefully, there will be a couple more games this year.
  20. I guess it's better to be Oregon than New Mexico this year. (Who could have known?) I looked up Miami, half expecting to see "head coach".
  21. It wouldn't make it under the bridge at Harrisburg. There are other obstacles in the river as well. When it is inflated, it is anchored and there are guy wires attached all around it to hold it up. Otherwise, it would topple over in even a slight wind. 65 feet high makes for a very big sail.
