Have You Seen the New Pac-2 Sticker Yet?
It would have been even better if it were: PAC 12 (-10)

Stunning Recruiting Info Has Me Shaking My Head Again...
I was surprised how many UW players were drafted last year. I thought that Oregon had the more talented roster, given our recruiting rankings over the past couple of years, but the NFL scouts and front offices believed differently. Oregon lost by 3 points 2x to the more talented team last year - on the road and at a neutral site.

QUAAACK! Offensive Lineman Demetri Manning Commits to Oregon!
And he has an impressive list of schools that have offered, include our old friend in Miami, who does know a thing or two about offensive lineman. Glad that he grew up a Ducks fan and gets to play in Eugene. I’ll be cheering for him and hope he’s able to accomplish all of his goals here.

Oregon Football Tickets on Sale: How Much vs. Ohio State, at Michigan?
I’m disappointed that they didn’t expand Autzen stadium before the first B1G football game in Eugene. Those mid-west fans travel as well as anyone.

Beaver Bluster: 'Oregon Will Get Tired of Traveling, and Will Be Back'
I could see the formation of a western conference down the road. Just not sure it would include OSU or WSU. Texas and Oklahoma would be more likely candidates, IMO, as well as Cal and Stanford….

Dan Lanning on Oregon Baseball: 'When a Duck is Pushed...It Pushes Back'
Man, I love Dan Lanning! He is such a great ambassador for the program and the University. I hope he spends his entire career in Eugene and wins multiple national championships. Let’s go Ducks!!!

SERIOUSLY? Dan Lanning Needs to 'Get Out of Oregon?'
I would feel the same if I were a tOSU or any other opposing college football fan…

Gabriel's Former Coach Weighs in on What Oregon is Getting (and Keep Scrolling for Several Articles on the Ducks)
Gabriel on Lanning: Said that Lanning’s coaching style is “innovative” and “refreshing” “Lanning is active in practices whether it’s running, lifting — “He’s sweating at practice, he’s in it,” Gabriel said. “I feel like that is an empowering feeling knowing that your coach is being a part of what you’re doing, not having levels of a hierarchy.””

Gabriel's Former Coach Weighs in on What Oregon is Getting (and Keep Scrolling for Several Articles on the Ducks)
“Ultimately, [Oregon is getting] consummate consistency. He’s hungry, he’s driven. He’s willing to put the work in. He improves from whatever areas, he attacks his weaknesses and plays within his strengths and he’s a great teammate.” - Venables said during the 2024 SEC Spring Meetings in Destin, FL.

Oregon 4-star QB Commit Akili Smith Jr. Earns Elite 11 Finals Invitation
From what I’ve seen, Akili Smith Jr. is underrated and should be a 5-star recruit. He has all of the physical tools that you would look for in a QB. He’s only going to get better. Hopefully our coaching staff continues to recruit him hard, like they do with other recruits, because I’m sure other schools will continue to do so.

OMIGOSH! Lanning Wants to "Retire Here?"
The longer Coach Lanning and his family stay in Eugene and establish deep roots in the community, the more likely he’s going to stay long term. Similar to Coach Bellotti who reportedly turned down some blue bloods (e.g., USC, tOSU) to stay in Eugene because he didn’t want to uproot his family.

When Times Were Better for USC Fans...(This Hasn't Aged Well)
And USC is stuck with Lincoln Riley, whose teams do not play defense, and doesn’t seem to be a great recruiter.

SC is SICK of Oregon...
Maybe Oregon would hire LR as a QB Coach…

Oregon's Final Portal Transfer Targets to Watch For...
I was thinking that he should join the military. Think of how fun basic training would be!

Comparing the Ceiling of Our Offense: Bo Nix vs. Dillon Gabriel
I can’t stand Oklahoma but Dillon Gabriel was spectacular. He will win a lot of games at Oregon and there is no QB that I’d rather have in big games next year. There is a reason that many are picking the Ducks to challenge Ohio State in the B1G.

Herbert is Lucky to Have Harbaugh...
Good teams build at the line of scrimmage. Bad teams select QB or skilled positions year after year…

Dan Lanning, Will Stein Among Coaches to Define Next Decade of College Football, per ESPN
I would be shocked if Stein sticks around in Eugene for more than another year or two. He’s going to get an offer for a head coaching opportunity and, if the offense is as prolific this season, as some expect, it might be sooner rather than later. Let’s hope that he can win a B1G and National Championship at the University of Oregon, first.

A DUCK at the Masters
The Masters is a tournament that favors those with experience. Wyndham will have many more opportunities to play in the tournament and I would not be surprised if he wins a green jacket in the future.

Oregon Ducks Football: Who’s Flashing on Offense?
Opposing secondaries are going to have nightmares about Oregon’s passing game. Evan Stewart is a big time down the field threat he makes 50/50 balls into 80/20. Holden and Dickey are bigger stronger receivers who can catch those short/intermediate throws and run over CBs or safeties, or catch those end zone fade routes. Tez and Gary Bryant are both high end possession receivers who run good routes, have great hands and will move the chains. This doesn’t even include our TEs or RBs sneaking out of the backfield on routes. Plus we have a QB(s) who can really sling the rock. So excited to see Oregon’s 2024-25 offense.

Arizona State's Ra'Shaad Samples a Target for Oregon Running Backs Coach Job
Coach Samples is certainly intriguing candidate and I can see why Coach Lanning is interested. However, if his goal is to become a HC soon, then he might be better off at ASU as passing game coordinator and WR Coach until someone comes calling for an OC job.

Recent Study Shows Oregon Ducks not as Attractive in Realignment Landscape as Fans May Think
No worries. My ego is not bruised and I appreciate your posts on this site. Like most on this site, I am a passionate college football fan (although troubled by the recent direction of the sport) and know all of the teams in the top football conferences (even the Vanderbilts, Rices and Northwesterns of the world…).

Locklyn is NOT Happy With Dan Lanning...
As someone else mentioned, this is a lateral move for Coach Lock. Yes, he’ll make more money but the Ryan Day is on the hot seat. I thank coach for what he did at Oregon but finding a good RB coach should not prove too difficult. I wouldn’t have broken the bank to retain him.
