  1. Understood about Game of Thrones not being complete, but writers missed multiple huge story lines that are in the books. Sansa and Daenerys' story line is way different than what the TV show used. I have a feeling, when the books are finally done, Daenery's story line isn't going to be her going mad. I feel like the writers wrote themselves into a corner they couldn't get out of with Daenerys.
  2. Charles, do you know how the advertising works? I usually "X" out all advertising, especially the boxes at the bottom of the screen. However, if that means the website isn't getting recognition for, it I'll not "X" out.
  3. I think it has a chance to be interesting. I read the books and they would sometimes bring in a little history of the Targaryen family. FYI, the TV show completely diverges from the books about season 5/6.

  6. Oregon Ducks outside linebacker Mase Funa hopes weight loss leads to more pass rush, havoc WWW.OREGONLIVE.COM The fourth-year junior feels he’s in the best shape of his career and poised to get back to being a disruptive force for the No. 11 Ducks this season.
  7. The crazy part is the B1G Ten signing on with NBC for the prime time slot. If they really wanted ND, they wouldn't have signed with NBC. All the talk about NBC and ND was as a stand alone, ND isn't as valuable. Now that NBC can have ND as the 3/3:30 game, before the B1G Ten game, ND became that much more valuable. Big 12 TV deal wasn't better than Pac 12s. Losing Texas and Oklahoma is as bad as losing USC/UCLA. I don't see any Pac 12 school moving to the Big 12, unless more Pac 12 schools get invited to the B1G Ten.
  8. I have no idea if the information is accurate, but the website has a column with the team NIL deal average. 2023 Consensus Football Team Recruiting Rankings WWW.ON3.COM A list of the top 2023 Football teams in order of recruiting rankings solely based off of the On3 Consensus
  9. What is sort of funny is that the B1G will want UCLA so bad, they will have to invite Cal. That then will invite Stanford and then will likely require them to invite 2 more teams, to make it an even 20 league team. To help with travel, they will want 2 west coast teams. There has been quite a bit of talk about the authority UCLA has to leave Cal behind, so you know the TV contracts must have language in there specifically talking about USC/UCLA.

  11. MC is living rent free in our heads. He is old news, time to move on. We have been kicking that horse for so long, there isn't anything left. Hopefully, Dan Lanning will get us all focused on the bright future of the Ducks.

  13. It is a nice list, but I think they need to hold off on that list until they sign the dotted line. Most are commits, yet unsigned. With how kids change their minds, I'm not convinced anybody is a Duck until they sign.
  14. Saturday Out West Crystal Ball: Predicting every Oregon football game for 2022 SATURDAYOUTWEST.COM The Oregon Ducks have a new head coach, Dan Lanning, who brings with him a defense-first approach. That's a big change up in Eugene. Will it pay off?
  15. Bronny James Recruiting: ‘Mutual Interest’ exists with Oregon Ducks DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM According to a new report from On3, the Ducks are in fact recruiting Bronny James, and there is mutual interest from both parties.
  16. I guess what would be considered a trick play? A flea flicker, a double reverse, a WR pass, a fake FG/punt? I personally don't think a flea flicker or double reverse are trick plays, even though they are not frequently run plays. A trick play is one of those things that look great when resulting in a positive play, but look terrible when they don't get the result needed. For a 1st game, I wouldn't run a trick play, unless he knows of a tendancy that he can take advantage of. If it doesn't work, it will be a stigma that could haunt him for a while.
  17. The Oregon Ducks have a history of putting forth a strong and extremely respectable group of running backs. From LaMichael James to Royce Freeman, from Jonathan Stewart to DeAnthony Thomas, the Ducks are known for having a stout stable of RBs. That doesn’t look to be changing under the new coaching staff, with RB coach Carlos Locklyn at the helm. 24. For the first time since the middle of last week, the Oregon Ducks football program is waking up on Wednesday morning without a scheduled practice to attend this afternoon. 25. Despite the relatively young age on Oregon’s defensive line, it’s not like Taki was coming into a defensive room that is lacking experience or production.
