I forget whoch bowl game it was but there was a really bad call from the refs and one of the commentators said their Pac12 refs. It's bad when even the commentators point out how crappy the Pac12 refs are!! Hopefully the B1G actually let go and crappy refs...Let's GO DUCKS! OOOOOOO

Hmmm...not what I would call a good start.

Defense looking unprepared that first series. Lupoi better make some adjustments fast.

Why was the TE open?  Because the LB let him run right by him because the LB was LOOKING AT THE QB!!!

 

I say this every month, a pass defender cannot cover the QB.  He can take away the QB's option by covering the guy that is his area of responsibility.

 

This is fundamental football (Vince Lombardi:"Gentleman, this is a football').

Well, Liberty looking better and more explosive for the first drives for each team.

Are we seeing an evolution of Dan Lanning as a coach?  Playing some field position instead of going for it at midfield?  

 

Not happy with how they are playing on offense but this is an interesting development in the coaching.

Once again starting out slow. Common theme with this group.

With all the long distance games to be played in the coming years, Lanning had better learn to get his team up for these away games.

 

Oregon, once again, just looks unfocused, and flat. That's on the coaches. Let's hope they can pull it together, because as deserving of a win as Liberty is, I certainly do not want them to win. 

 

If Oregon loses, it's going to sting in more ways than one.

This Liberty O looks sorta like Navy, with a good passer?

Liberty's O-line is pretty good.

Will Stein needs to figure out these slow starts. I don’t know if it’s bad planning or lack of motivation but playing from behind from the get go makes things so much harder to win.

Throw wasn't "perfect" but it did hit him in the hands...

We need to see more of Bucky and Jordan James...no way Liberty has the defense to keep up with them the whole game.

 

I trust the game plan, but already I see the ducks have more speed...work that sideline to sideline.  Match-ups in space.

That's one thing that drove me nuts watching WAZZU teams coached by the 'Pirate.' His receivers could snag just about any sort of garbage throw, including literally inches off the turf, at times.

I'm honestly not worried about the ducks on offense they'll figure it out. It's the defense that concerns me.

 

They have shown all year long that they can't defend the past against elite passing teams. And I'm not saying Liberty is elite, but ...

Oregon looks flat through the first quarter.  Stein is too pass happy and our WRs drop too many passes.

 

Regardless of what the coaches say, these bowl games are pointless.  Just look at all the empty seats.

Sensing a change in the game dynamics here.  

Come on Ducks, punch this in, get a stop and make it 24-6 at the half. You can do this.

Catching the ball in perfect weather conditions seems to be a challenge for some of our receivers.
