The vast majority of you are GREAT in this thread, but you must remember that this forum is different, as we require civilized discourse. Discussion of negative is fine, but don't vent on us!

Listening to the pregame show it feels like many in the B1G media still don't know the Ducks.

I don’t know what some of those CFB pundits were looking at during the Summer, Gabriel has plenty of arm strength.

I don’t know what’s going on with Cornelius but that’s the 2nd time he’s ruined a 1st down play by being out of formation.

Multiple times last season, too... C'mon Cornenelius!

That’s an understatement. I don’t know what’s going on in Cornelius’ head but he’s not playing anywhere near the level of a starting lineman. Might be good to bench him as a wake up call.

What a seriously unexpected, underwhelming, and unimpressive 1st half. 

 

Scary that we're playing Idaho and we look like this. 

 

Hopefully, the second half will look like the team we were expecting. 

Go to the doctor at the half. Fix what ails the O-line. The one bright point is that Pickard may not be JPJ, but his snaps are good and he's only allowed one pressure. Gabriel gets a B+ so far. D is doing it's job.

 

Give Idaho props, they are playing well.

Defense doing well overall, offense is underwhelming most due to the OL not doing their job. Coach Terry needs to do something to wake his guys out of their malaise.

Gotta remind ourselves that it’s the first game with many new faces. 
 

Biggest growth happens starting tomorrow. Still, there are some good signs now. 

 

It’s a loooong season. They’ll clean it up. 

O line and the O is not clicking. Lets go 2nd half!!! 

Idaho is disciplined on defense. They’re keeping everything in front of them. The good thing about Gabriel is he’s not trying to force long throws. The running game needs work. Cornelius isn’t doing great, but those illegal formation calls were ticky tacky. He probably lined up like that all last season and didn’t get called. 

Wouldn't bench Cornelius as that really won't help things. The two illegal formation penalties he was responsible for probably wouldn't have been called last year. That said, there is now no question about how deep the OT can line up, so correct it.

 

Communication on the O-line appears to be partly responsible as well for the missed assignments. That might be due to Pickard but they just all need to get on the same page.

 

And IMHO, this Idaho team came to play and isn't intimidated by Autzen or the Duck's #3 ranking. The second half will be more telling.

First game jitters, most all the games I've watched today the first half is pretty uninspiring. Time to make some adjustments at halftime and come out with some solid OL play.

I am really impressed with how accurate Gabriel is, and he does have a quick release.  When he decides to throw--it's gone.

 

I am surprised at the offensive line, but it is early.

 

Disappointed with injuries on defense; Bassa is out, but nice to have Boettcher and Jackson to step in.  Tysheem Johnson must be hurt for a RS freshman Tyler to be playing...

I just looked and 296 first half yards surprised me. Very impressive. 

 

Dillion is 23-27, 245 yards, 1 TD. Highly impressive.

OK, Tysheem Johnson, is now starting in the second half. So perhaps there was an internal bit of disciplined being done that benched him for the first half?

I finally see the importance Powers Jackson was to our success.. this Oline is not championship level yet

Pickard got beat on that sack. 3 sacks and one lost fumble. O-line truly has a problem

The OL play is comical at this point. Tripping over your own teammate to blow up the play and turn the ball over on downs.

The Ducks O doesnt look top 40.

Sluggish and sloppy. Is it the Idaho curse? Can't beat Boise or the freaking Vandals?
