The list of surprises is long, but for me--it was great to see the offensive line get angry and dominate a so-so program's defensive line. No playing down, as we had hat-on-hat often, and saw superb extended blocking.

On the flip side...I saw a few holds by us that were not called, and would love to clean that up. What surprises were there for YOU?

Surprised only that Rutgers was not ready to play at all. They can’t be that bad. They were leading Washington at one point a week or 2 ago. Right?

Now, how does the team keep the intensity for a weak-ish Wisconsin team?

Judging from the intense expression on the face of Lanning during and after the game, I'd guess he will see to it that the Ducks keep up their intensity.

Never a ... OK, I had more than a few doubts coming into this game. And the start was - Oh No! 🤬

But after the 1st half of the first quarter, I simply relaxed and enjoyed.😍

OBD got right, left, north, south, east, west, 360 degrees RIGHT and then some! There is a B1G gap between the upper tier of this conference and the bottom third.

That was a fun, fun, fun watch. Daddy, don't take the Offense away!

As you so noted, Charles, it was so good to see the OL play Monster Mash.

I was surprised by Kenyon Sadiq's monster game, until he got dinged up. He's obviously the best player on the field when he is healthy, so I'm guessing he was not healthy verses Indiana. If he was, different outcome!

Not really if you look at the results on my prediction contest score 49-17 (it was 56-10), I called 3 take-aways, we had 3...6 sacks, we had 3. 335 passing yards, we had 338

3 turnovers (by 3 starters) was a surprise. Total yardage domination (750-202) and holding the hyped Rutgers passing game to 79 yds...pleasant surprise

I feel bad for Wisconsin fans. Two straight weeks of not scoring a point is going to stretch to three next week. Oregon wants to dominate, and I think they want to prove a point going forward that they aren't going to mess around with middling to lower tier B1G squads. Wisconsin made the game ugly last year. Oregon is going to pounce.

The only question is will Fickell make it to Eugene and then get fired, or is he gone tomorrow?

Hopefully, Oregon can make the playoffs to see if we can respond to getting punched in the mouth against a good team vs front-running against a weaker team.

One of the biggest difference between this week and last week was that last week's ref crew was a lot more flag happy in general. Oregon has gotten used to a lot of flags not being thrown for rough and boarderline holding play. Last week's crew was throwing flags... this week's crew really wasn't which has been more of the norm throughout the season to date.

I was surprised with how the Ducks completely put it on Rutgers in the first half. They were pissed off and took it out on the Scarlet Knights.

At least we know this team will not roll over and die like Penn State did. Credit to the players from putting the Indiana game behind them and traveling all the way across the country to kick some a#%.

Keep improving week after week so you are peaking at the end of the year.

I am surprised it was that much of a dominating performance. I thought we would probably win a route, but after the first possession it was just one way traffic the entire way, I also was surprised to see Rutgers have no success at all in the passing game, they have good receivers and a decent QB, but it was just stifled for the entire night. Great job by everyone.

Last week may have been mostly former PAC 12 retreads... Any body check?

I was only mildly surprised at our offensive performance, since Rutgers has a horrible defense, especially when it comes to explosive plays.

I was extremely surprised how much our defense dominated them, because their offense was supposed to be pretty good.

The most surprising thing for me this game was learning from the announcer that Rutgers started in 1766, 10 years before the Declaration of Independence. That's freaking old.

Biggest surprise was how lame the Scarlet Knights offense looked against the Ducks. They seemed more capable the few times I've seen them play this year. Second biggest was the absence of Novostad. What's that all about?

No.

Very suprised that Stein used a few counters and misdirections in the running game. Those play calls froze the Rutgers linebackers and left them flatfooted. this took pressure off DM.

IU linebackers were on their toes movIng and forcing pressure on DM.

The biggest surprise was designed runs for Dante. All of this, coupled with strong blocking helped light up the scoreboard.

It was exciting to see a massive Duck O lineman and Sadiq 40 yards downfield blocking for Dante when the turf monster got him.
