  1. Hate to say it, but hat's off to the Huskies. They out-schemed, out-coached and out-played the Ducks. I hate it.
  2. You can find holding on every play in every game by every team. That's not the problem.
  3. Was Franklin in on that last crappy series?
  4. May be the best news of the day.
  5. In answer to Log Haulins question, yes , I think DeBoer has Lanning’s number. Huskies’ play calling is too good.
  6. I try not to use my Popeil Pocket Fisherman/Time Machine™ too often, as it's getting rickety, but I've had it with the waiting. I'm strapping in now and setting the controls for 9:00 pm Friday night. I'll report back in a bit...
  7. That happened in about 1985 (an arbitrary pick), if there ever was innocence and wholesomeness in college football.
  8. Decades of being a Ducks' fan have taught to hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. Even with the caveat that this team seems to be different, I'm not counting any chickens yet.
  9. How much is his buy-out?
  10. Exactly what I kept wondering. Both throws were nearly picked. And it was pretty weird that the star QB (team leader?) couldn’t bear to watch the end of the game, and instead looked like he was hurling over the rail.
  11. It's gotten to the point where a FG feels like a complete failure.
  12. How many bathrooms and bedrooms are in the offer to Scalley?
  13. Very annoying! But, if it brings in site revenue, so be it.
  14. That was the most comically inept tackling I’ve ever seen on Bryant’s TD.
  15. At least Lewis is booming the kickoffs.
  16. They're going to have to call it Boogle now.
  17. Sorry, but I think they’re a brilliant design. And, if the kids dig ‘em…
  18. My question is When do blue bloods stop being blue bloods? Great question. Probably when the Lou Holtzs and Paul Feinbaums and other aging poobahs of the college football world are no longer spinning the narratives they created and learned decades ago. The college football world has changed a lot recently. Those guys, not so much. Quote
