  1. Good to see the "marker in time" for the rise of Oregon Football get a lil retroactive NIL for his place in our collective memories. 👍 Even if it be only unlimited supply of HOPS Valley pale ale. Lol. 🍻
  2. And that's what happens when you FOLLOW you blocking!!!! Go Ducks!
  3. Well not a whole lotta "fire" going on, but efficient and controlled so far. Hope to see a little more bang in the second half. Go Ducks!
  4. Think the coffee has finally started to "kicking". Now let's see if the D is now fully awake
  5. Hmmmm...wonder if that number also includes Linemen (huge, beefy, fast Linemen) from the Pacific isles, and kickers from Australia??? Global talent recruitment agenda! Go Ducks.
  6. Oregon Wins Comfortably (while still in robe and slippers-9am....gawd awful). 47-9 T.O. 3 SKS. 4 237 Pass Yds
  7. Probably the primary difference Penn St. will encounter is the size and speed of the Ducks compared to who they would have played so far. Not that they aren't accustom to that, playing on the B1G, but first time in a season might take a quarter to a quarter and a half to adjust properly. I see that time frame as the perfect opportunity for the Ducks to "pounce" the lions and get up by double digits early and make the "green", in a sea of white, stand out even more! 😉 But first things first. Got us some wildcats and Beavus to lay a smackdown on first! 🦆🏈🪨's
  8. After winning a "Natty" or two and if the Riverwalk park ever reaches its full funding and potential; I can definitely see something like this scenario coming to fruition. A "block party"/Saturday market vibe with monitors throughout the Riverwalk park live streaming the game. Would work Great for September/October games...not so sure about November...never rains at Autzen stadium but everywhere else it does! Fun stuff to contemplate until the narrative changes to favorite Natty contender, after our takedown of Penn St during their "whiteout" the end of the month. Go Quackers!
  9. And just to "appreciate" the Fact that just One decade ago, this photo could not have happened. Today (last night), in ONE game, between two of the 32 NFL teams, we had FIVE players who know that the NFL is just their day job (a very lucrative and hard earned "day job") but in the end "Once a Duck....Always a Duck! And that very program that helped make them the men and players they are today, is proving its ability to send Duck brothers to the NFL. What a great way to show it to all the "future" Duck brothers. 🦆🏈🪨's
  10. OREGON 43-13 2 TO 4 SKS 253 YDS Pass GO QUACKERS!!!!
  11. Uncle Phil? Is that you? 😆
  12. Oh it's going to be a "wonderous" season. I fully appreciate the high level of football entertainment, year in and year out, that OBD provide. We are a fortunate fanbase! GO DUCKS!
  13. Agreed. Not only at the quality starters and rotation players during the first half but also the minimal drop off In intensity and execution by the players (whom most I did not recognize the names of) into the fourth quarter. Might have been able to start an "all freshman" unit and still would have been competitive. If this level of depth and player passion continues as the season progresses...well let's just say the possibilities are promising. Now on to game two. Beatdown time for some 'pokes. GO DUCKS!
  14. Gosh Darn It All. Charles gives us permission to vent and the Ducks oblige by giving us Nuthin' to Jerk about.....WAIT A MINUTE! We lost two yards on that last play of the game! FIRE D. Lanning now before we get too deep into the season!!!!!!! QUACK!
  15. GAME DAY! GAME DAY! GAME DAY! GAME DAY! GAME DAY! GAME DAY! GAME DAY! GAME DAY! GAME DAY! GAME DAY! GAME DAY! GAME DAY!
  16. OH MY GOD! IT IS, FINALLY, GAMEDAY!!! GO DUCKS! 🦆🏈🪨's
  17. 33-13 DUCKS! 3 T.O. 3 SACKS 213 YDS PASSING See a run heavy game with "safe" passing plays for the QB's that get to play. Fairly vanilla offense with the focus on execution. See how much pressure the reloaded Duck Defense can exert at all three levels. GO DUCKKKKS!
  18. Hmmmmm. Big and Beefy Trench Monsters. No doubt it will take the offensive line 2-3 games to gel and establish communication on a rebuilt offensive line. The talent level of these players will help hide any early season....shortcomings. But by the time we trip out to Happy Valley I have confidence that Coach Terry and company will have them ballin at an elite and dominating level of play. Remember that not only this coaching staff, but NFL-lite coaches across the country are still adapting and adjusting to high player turnover due to the wild, wild West of the transfer portal. (Well except Clemson maybe...lol). No matter where you get your players from and how you tend to utilize them in your football scheme, they still need to learn how to work as a "team" to maximize their inherent abilities to the fullest potential. Thats where the "coaching" comes into play. I believe that both our offensive and defensive line play may actually surprise a lot of sports pundits as the season progresses. But then again...I'm just a hopelessly devoted fan(atic) of OBD so what the hell do I know, Not filtered through that fandom! 🤪. Go Ducks!
  19. It will be interesting to see how/if Tosh continues in his "growth" as the Ducks DC. He has definitely shown growth from his days in (California?) and Jacksonville, but still seemed out coached by his college football nemesis, Chip Kelly last year in the playoffs. Defense being D.Lannings "cup o tea" and the fact that he himself seems to have a lot of confidence in Tosh as his DC since bringing him in four years ago, gives me hope that they are both on the same page, defensively, and are creating one of the more dominantly consistent defenses in all of NFL-lite football. However if future games arise that Tosh seems to be a "day late and a step behind" the game plan of the opposing offense, with no clear in-game adjustments to counter, then it would not surprise me to see some interest in taking our DC in a different direction. D. Lanning will NOT wait forever for his vision of dominating defense, year in and year out, to become reality. Here's hoping Tosh has continued his progression as OBD's defensive coordinator. It can only bode well for OBD this year and into the future. Go Ducks (T-minus 3 days, 5ish hours)! QUACK! 🦆🏈🪨's
  20. Mega corps are goin' to "megacorp". Us lowly "data points" are just that and not truly part of the overall equation as long as they can get more of the dinero'. Sad to see but nothing will change anytime soon, so we are all along for the ride. One way or another I will partake in watching and cheering OBD to their first Natty...even if I have to "slog" through the accessibility BS. Go Quackers (t-minus 4days/4hours)
  21. Kinda get the "Stacey" vibe from this one. Good Luck with that.
  22. Oregon Wins 42-37 2 T.O. 3 Sacks 324 Yds Pass.
