I think 73 underclassmen applied for this years draft not to mention all the older and more mature kids that got more experience because of Covid setback. Not a good year to gamble. After the covid setback washes thru which I think will be within 2 years, very confusing for sure, these kids might have a better opportunity to move up to the next level.

These kids and their agents that cause turmoil in the program should be shown the door. -

Bobby Moore is still my favorite. Had a very good nfl career.

It’s amazing to me how college athletic departments can fall apart so rapidly. It wasn’t that long ago that these departments stayed together for several years. Sign of the times I guess. My brain aches from trying to keep up with it all so I won’t. Seems like the Ducks are having a huge problem with it but I think most schools are going through it as well.

De'Anthony Thomas...Could Have, SHOULD Have?
Just Ducky replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Never seen a guy make cuts at full speed like that except maybe Reggie Bush. The kid broke a lot of ankles. Seven is going to be good but not that good. -
Dawgs Fan From Georgia: What I Hope to Learn and Share
Just Ducky replied to McDawg's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I remember when Tennessee came to Eugene a few years back and I spent quite a bit of time chatting with their fans. Our tailgate area was very close to the Volunteers tented area. They were knowledgeable and very supportive of the Ducks, even though they knew they were about to get boat raced, because they all thought the Ducks could take down mighty Alabama. A class act all the way around and a great experience for me and my wife. I will never forget it. -
Tosh Lupoi--Ducks Defense Will be 'Confrontational'
Just Ducky replied to Mudslide's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Much rather watch a defense that gives up 14 points per game than one that gives up 28. My goal is the defense getting off the field in a timely manner to avoid being exhausted by the 4th Qtr. and less chance of injury. Passive defensive teams have trouble surviving the season. -
Predicting the 2-Deep on Offense After Spring Game
Just Ducky replied to 30Duck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I may be a bit over my skis here but this offense obviously is not the best overall starting lineup the Ducks have had but it certainly must be the deepest we have seen at Eugene. I can’t see a week backup at any position on the offensive side of the ball. Unless it’s the water boy. -
I think a lot of us knew this might be the case. I can’t blame the kids because they are just kids and need guidance but not from the wrong people. I can’t remember who said this, it was one or many of us, but things should smooth out a bit by year 3. Another reason why USCs business model may not work out. Many of the transfers will be gone quickly and the portal may not be the answer every year. Still are going to need to recruit at a high level to keep a solid base of players on your roster.

Fun Matters More than Ever for Oregon Football
Just Ducky replied to FishDuck Article's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I actually thought that DL is a genius more than I did before Saturday. He not only was letting the kids and the fans enjoy the game but he also warned the upcoming opponents that if they jam the box they may be down 14 points before they realize the game has started. No more 2 yards and a cloud of dust from Oregon football. Chip was an offensive genius and Dan may also be one and we just don’t know it yet. The message has definitely been sent. -
Where Does the Future Lie at QB For Oregon?
Just Ducky replied to Gusduck71's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Some simple facts are we have two very talented kids in Butters and Thompson and I can only blame one person for them not being ready, if that ends up being the case, and we all know who that is. I feel sorry for the Caine’s, NOT, if he stays on coarse. -

One thing is for sure, I have been to Atlanta and you strip clubs beat ours to death. I thought I was in a Vegas night club with Valet parking no less. You guys rock. -
Spring Game Review from Georgia 24/7 Reporter
Just Ducky replied to Steven A's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I won’t bad mouth Bo for one simple reason, two maybe. He beat Herbert as a freshman, I still blame that loss on the coaching staff. He was Sec freshman standout. Ok there are many. He beat Alabama and many other SEC teams when Auburn’s coaching staff was a mess. But most of all he will be Oregon’s starter at Atlanta with a boat load of talented kids quite capable of beating anyone and till he proves he’s not the guy then he is the guy. Let’s get behind him because you know our coaches will. go s -
Quibbling About the Spring Game Attendance?
Just Ducky replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
It was hard to get a handle on how many fans were actually at the game. I’m sure some walked out at halftime for a cold one and came back in with another can, just kidding. The fans were moving around and lots were at the concessions so I think 35,000 is a fair number give or take. Everyone seemed to be having a good time including players and coaches. Our DC was having a blast with his players. Fun to watch. -

Critical Analysis: Oregon Spring Game Hits and Misses
Just Ducky replied to FishDuck Article's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I made a comment on how young the crowds were but with basically free admission it was easy for the whole family to attend if you could afford the gas to get there. There should be much more knowledgeable fans at The games this fall. -
Am I missing something? Does anyone know what happened to Cardwell. Kept looking fo him in the game and I see he had no stats. Not on the injury list that I could see.

Some of those could have been play action which actually wouldn’t be considered an rpo. But the running room was there.
