  1. Wow! What a game! I'm exhausted! (Good thing I'm at home, in my Barcalounger.)
  2. Hope your back will be in good working order real soon.
  3. I used to do that when my husband had a parking space there and we didn't have to hunt for one. Later, the walk became too much for him anyway, so the shuttle buses were perfect us. But that walk over from campus is a nice one.
  4. Shuttle buses are the way to go. Cost is $5.00, unless you wait until game day, then it is $10.00 Fans can park and ride from the Valley River Center (Northwest parking lot), Lane Events Center (North parking lot), Pacific Source (555 International Way, Springfield) or Springfield Station (355 South A St., Springfield) to the stadium. Pacific Source is not far from I-5 You have to purchase shuttle bus tickets in advance, on your phone. https://am.ticketmaster.com/oregonducks/buy/25autzenexpress
  5. The Platypus Trophy keeps disappearing only to turn up again. I'm not a fan of this trophy, so hope that it gets stashed in some closet where no one finds it for a 100 years. 😉
  6. I believe the Oregon fans are encouraged to wear green for the Penn State game. Not sure about what uniforms the Ducks will wear.
  7. Is Justin actually involved with Beer, or was that just a moment's meeting someone caught on camera???
  8. I hope the loop will be restored by the end of August. I was at Autzen about a week ago, and it was a mess then.
  9. Gotta say, I've always found it difficult to celebrate gluttony...😁
  10. This morning Perloff was talking about how the Oregon Ducks lost their game yesterday. Losing is sad, but, hey, just getting to Oklahoma is quite the accomplishment. 😉 Seriously, can't people keep the Oregon teams straight?
  11. I never bet actual money on a game, and really the only time I "bet" was on a now-gone sports message board where we were "given" $5,000 to bet and winner, of course, was the one who had the most money at the end of the season (college football in this case). I was the top winner two years in a row (even though I had to concentrate on how to word the bet so that it was what I was trying to bet), mostly because 1) I didn't bet much money and 2) luck. An example of luck was to bet on UConn beating the 44-point spread in a game against Alabama, and UConn losing by only 43 points. 🙂
  12. ❤️❤️❤️ Loved The Rifleman!
  13. Just because higher rankings before the season for the sec means that each win within the conference means higher rankings overall, and each loss with in the conference isn't "so bad" because, well, it was to a highly-ranked team, doesn't really affect anything, right? 🤪
  14. 6 PM in November--BRRR! But 1 pm game (1 PM!!! 🙂 ) for the Montana State game--YAY! The earlier in the day the better for a game in August. And 12:30 for the OK ST game, woo!
  15. Remembering how usc fans acted after the trojans announced moving to the B1G and before Oregon also did so, with usc fans laughing and looking down on the Ducks and saying how Oregon was being left in the dust, I just have to smile at such news.
  16. Does strength of schedule even matter anymore, or just the number of wins?
  17. Is USC perhaps hoping to get an easier schedule by dropping ND...? USC demands major date change to keep Notre Dame rivalry alive FANSIDED.COM College football fans could lose the late-season Notre Dame-USC rivalry unless it's moved to early in the year.
  18. I remember way back when all Duck games (and I think most, if not all, PAC games) started at 1:00 pm., which I thought was great. (I know not everyone would be happy about that start time, but I loved it.) Yes, that was before all games were on TV, so there's the hitch. But still, I'd be happy with noon, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm games and getting home before it is dark.
  19. Oops, talked about you-know-who. Sorry! 😞
  20. The first time I heard this song I was driving home from my first full-time job after college. It blew me away--I rolled down the windows and turned up the volume. Love the drums, especially at 1:48.
  21. I think Oregon should continue with the tradition of not retiring a player's number. There's a display of his Heisman Trophy in the H-D complex. Fans can see it, touch it, take pictures of it/with it. I think that's a better tribute than retiring his number.
  22. I agree with Rece. Retire the headgear pick too. That was Corso's schtick and IMHO it wouldn't seem right with someone else doing it.
