OBD's D will stop Beav's run game and get the ball back to our O plenty. It's going to be up to our O-line and O to take control. If they can do that, we should easily cover. If not, it will be another long shaky game.

Yes, OL is leaky. But DG needs to get rid of ball quick or be more mobile too! Not to give up on him, but I wonder if it's time to play another 5-star QB that we got just to mix things up? I think it's desperation time. Continuing the same plays will definitely result in a loss.

Send Stewart and Johnson down field and have DG get rid of the ball quickly. When that works for a couple of times, running plays should loosen up. Definitely don't keep running up the middle for 1st and 2nd down. That's the Mari No play!

I think at this point, DL and Stein need to just call aggressive offensive plays. Can't just run up the middle or throw lateral passes any more. This team is clearly not as good as hyped and we need to play hungry! Case in point, when DG throws to Stewart down field, good things happen...

K State at Tulane is pretty big too, especially since it will be played in the soaking NOLA. I am rooting for a Green Wave upset!

Agree 100% that we wouldn't want him hurt, but I was talking about easy runs. Potato defense was effective because they figured out that DG wouldn't run. That's a major weakness our next potato opponent will no doubt exploit even more. That said, despite the disappointing outcome, I am very glad that we won without any major injuries. Unlike the opponents which were dropping like flies every few minutes. So may DL did work our guys a bit hard, but it did pay off in that regard.
