So, I’ve been following this story since yesterday. According to a video Tweeted out by a Packers fan at the Eagles game, his fiancée was verbally abused by an Eagles fan (surprise, surprise). The language used was quite vile, so the Packers fan told the guy to knock it off, but the Eagles fan doubled down even while knowing he was being recorded. Long story short, the Packers fan didn’t want to get physical with the guy because he knew he would get jumped by him and his buddies. So, he put the video on Twitter at 2:00 AM Monday morning. By Monday afternoon the name and employer of the culprit went public. This morning the Eagles announced he was banned from any future games and this evening his employer announced that he had been terminated. This dude has been getting dragged on social media and as you can see, major news outlets have picked up the story. I’m quite sure that he had no idea his life would be turned upside down within 48 hours of making his comments. Hopefully, this gets around and some of the rather “uncouth” sports fans (Duck fans included) get an idea of the ramifications of their actions. It’s highly likely that they won’t make it to the Final Four of the B1G Tournament. Sixteen of the eighteen teams have double digit wins and the other two are 8-8. This is one of the toughest conferences in CBB.

I’ve only seen two really huge upsets in CFB championship games in my lifetime. Both happened to the Miami Hurricanes. In 1986 against PSU and in 2002 against OSU. If they’re not playing then I’m not counting on an upset.

In the NC game against Auburn, the refs didn’t hose Oregon nearly as bad as Chip did. Auburn’s pass defense was horrible but he was very adamant about establishing the run. He finally figured it out, but it was too late.

This is the same OSU team that beat Oregon. Their defense is just as aggressive and they’re handling Sark’s offense pretty well. The big difference is Oregon’s defense couldn’t stop them.
