  1. The committee finally put Miami ahead of Notre Dame because the media pundits started to really call them out for their BS. They had no choice. They would’ve looked like biased idiots if they hadn’t switched them. I’ve always been of the opinion that championship game competitors shouldn’t be punished for losing if they would’ve gotten in without playing. However, Bama has been the beneficiary of getting into the old four team format with even winning their division, so I think they should’ve been left out. OU or Indiana will keep them from playing us which is kind of unfortunate.
  2. Weather won’t be a factor. Harrisonburg, VA is colder than Eugene this time of year. The biggest factor will be talent.
  3. Apparently, FanDuel leaked the spreads for the first round of the playoff. Miami is out. Notre Dame is in. Oregon opens up with JMU -20.5. This could all be fake since the seeds are messed up. NOTE: Yep. It was fake. Mario is going to the show.
  4. Bama sat some starters due to injury, so the committee will likely put them in at 10. I don’t see Miami jumping Notre Dame due to their two conference losses in a really bad ACC. UGA deserves the two seed and Ohio State deserves the three seed. However, something tells me the committee is going to drop Ohio State to the four seed to ensure a SEC team has the opportunity to play in the national championship game.
  5. Novosad and Moga will probably transfer. If that happens they have to transfer between January 2-16 which is during the playoffs.
  6. JMU or Tulane. How does Miami get in when they couldn’t win a championship in a conference with a 8-4 conference champion?
  7. Duke will win in OT. They’re just prolonging the agony.
  8. The lack of fans at this championship game tells me they don’t deserve to be in the playoffs. Embarrassing turnout.
  9. Once again, Ryan Day’s head will be requested to be served on a platter. He had the ball inside the red zone twice and scored zero points. Kind of like the Michigan game last season.
  10. The Indiana defense is for real. I think Day just thought they dominated OBD because he thought we were weak.
  11. Duke is going to win. What a tournament this will be.
  12. That 4th down review could be huge.
  13. Bama will be in the playoff, so DeBoer still has life. If the committee leaves them out then that will be the end of conference championship games.
  14. Bama had -3 yards rushing. That is all.
  15. Let me guess. They’re also saying “Pay Dan Lanning whatever he wants. Make him say no”.
  16. Kirby, maybe sit #15 on the bench for the rest of the game. He’s Bama’s offense with all of his penalties.
  17. Bama now has 10 yards rushing for the game. Seven less than halftime. They’ve ran 3 plays on UGA‘s side of the field. They’re slightly better than LSU in the 2012 NC game.
  18. Bama has 17 rushing yards. I know they have injuries, but their rushing offense has been dog balls all season (103rd).
  19. Tech averages 489 yards total offense per game this season. When they played BYU they were held to 370 both games. BYU has the 29th best defense in CFB. Oregon is 4th.
  20. Campbell, like Kiffin, is no longer in a place that’s happy to have him. He’s in a place that thinks he’s fortunate they hired him. It’s playoff or bust for both.
  21. How far does Bama jump if they beat UGA? That’s going to be the big game that could determine Oregon’s seeding.
  22. You hit the nail on the head with this comment about the problem with Campbell. He’s used to getting his 3-star recruits and developing them into a Big 12 contender. Penn State expects top 10 classes with blue chip recruits. Campbell is going to have to battle guys like Day, Lanning, Riley and Moore for the big names. I will also add that James Franklin is going to use his relationships to steal Campbell’s recruits any chance he gets. If Franklin starts winning the ACC then Penn State is going to have to fight a two front war to keep their best players in state. Now, Campbell can choose to go the Curt Cignetti route, but if he so much as loses 3 games the torches and pitchforks are going to make an appearance. They might give him a season to get right, but then it’s time to beat the big boys. He won’t make it past year three if he doesn’t beat Ohio State at least once.
  23. Paying top dollar for high school kids is a risky endeavor. Dave Portnoy contributed $12M to get Bryce Underwood to Michigan but is now saying he’s not going to pay any more money to keep him. Underwood was good but he move the needle that much. Awful AnnouncingDave Portnoy won't commit more NIL money to help Michigan...Michigan alum Dave Portnoy put money in the NIL pot to snag Bryce Underwood last year, but won't commit any more to keep him in Ann Arbor.
