I won't feel it a success unless the Ducks make the natty and win or lose. Getting knocked out by tOSU will only fan the flames of bias and further reinforce the idea that the Ducks can't win the big one. Going 13-0 then losing the 1st game in the CFP will feel like the season is unfinished.

My concern is the long wait period before the Ducks play on Jan 1st. As is with most long wait periods for bowl games it seems that teams are a little rusty or slow to gel in the 1st qtr and into the 2nd. OSU just had a great game and has a much shorter wait time to play again. This game makes me really nervous for that reason. A sluggish start won't cut it.

I'm going with Hoosier Daddy for the win.

Ducks need to play the game not the hype. If the game gets too big for DG it won't be a fun night.

2nd half was tough to watch after 10:00pm. I feel that the Ducks being at home next Fri will have the crowd behind them and they'll have a better showing. No way will there be a letdown against OSU. BUT I'm not sure they're ready for prime time yet. So far they've only played one tough team in Boise St. MI St isn't much better or worse than UCLA IMO so it'll be hard to grade them. If the Ducks drop 45+ on Mst that will be a good sign. But they better have their big boy pants on for 4 qtrs when OSU comes to town. Game Day in Eugene? That would boost the energy even more.

41-17 Ducks 3 TO 3 Sacks 320 Passing Yards I would give the Ducks more points but I think they'll still be sorting things out with the O line and penalties plus it's an away game.

I want to see 40+ points. I don't care how they get it.

It was only a close game because the Ducks muffed too many opportunities. Watching it caused nervous excitement vs fun excitement.

I don't remember where I read it but there was an article written about Will Steins offensive game plan where he stated that he want to be different and mostly use short passes. Someone on here mentioned that article a few days ago and maybe they could chim in. It seemed like the game plan was to have DG not run and not throw deep. It's almost like his hands were tied. Like when Herbert couldn't run.

How much energy will there be when their teams down by 20 pts? UCLA's not even predicted to be in the top 10 in the conference. Might be fun for them for the 1st qtr.
