Nebraska Fires Scott Frost
Not counting the two or three interim coaches every head coach since Tom Osborne hung up his whistle in 1997 has been fired. That includes Bo Pelini and his 67-27 record. I guess they leave financially secure with their buyout but still.

No. 21 BYU Takes Down No. 9 Baylor, 26-20...Tough Game Next Week
Must have been after the 1989 game that Rich Brooks vowed he would not take his team back to Provo. Apparently the home cooking left a bad taste in his mouth.

Nebraska Fires Scott Frost
I wonder if he will get an opportunity to reunite with Chip? They were close when both were in Eugene and he should have good insight if and when the Bruins transition to the B1G.

Nebraska Fires Scott Frost
In three weeks his buyout would decrease by $7.5 million, must be nice to have that kind of money to waste. That means the key date to watch for a potential coaching change is October 1. Thanks to a restructured contract that Frost and Nebraska negotiated last year, Frost’s buyout goes from $15 million to $7.5 million, which is enough of a drop for Nebraska to potentially pull the plug on the head coach. Scott Frost's Buyout Situation, Explained WWW.MSN.COM The Nebraska coach's buyout number decreases significantly in the middle of the season.

Boy, Are Those Rankings Going to Flip!
You probably did. Both teams fans are cut from the same cloth, thus my distaste for both.

Boy, Are Those Rankings Going to Flip!
Classy post by a ND fan on one of their boards. Did I mention I really don't like ND? Congrats to the Marshall players. This will be the best day of your life, so enjoy it. You losers will never accomplish anything in your lives. That's why you go to Marshall.

Marcus Freeman about to go 0-2 as a rookie head coach. Feel sorry for him but elated to see Notre Dame struggle.

Does The Transfer Clock Start Today?
If he had gone through his progression to his left there was an apple pie cooling on a window sill, wide open. Bigfoot could have strolled to the local Baskin and Robbins for ice cream rather than running with a baker in hot pursuit.

Covid 19 Policies at Autzen Stadium
After the last two years the AD should have aggressively publicized their policy. I think it is a bit more important than shirt color.

Chip Created a Monster at Oregon?
Last year Georgia defeated their eight regular season SEC opponents by roughly a 40-8 average score. Oregon may not yet be elite SEC quality but who is? Oregon would get plenty of wins playing normal B1G or SEC members.

Suddenly, the Transfer Dilemma Rears Again
Don't worry, the new transfer window will prevent a transfer until after the season.

Yesterday’s Adversity Is an Opportunity for the Ducks To Grow
Another way to frame the BSU loss is to say we only had six first downs and 152 yards total offense. That is on a par with what we saw yesterday.

Yesterday’s Adversity Is an Opportunity for the Ducks To Grow
I agree. What I question is how Irving and Whittington got the early playing time. I probably missed something but the stats show Cardwell and Dollars averaged more than twice the yards per carry and appeared to be more reliable receivers.

I AM an IDIOT, a Complete IDIOT
Actually spot on. I believe everybody is surprised how pathetic they were, I know I certainly am. I hope someone will watch the film and post an evaluation of line play on both sides of the ball. My initial feeling is it won't grade out well.
