  1. I thought allowing the backup QB to look like a Heisman candidate was part of the Oregon brand, like their uniforms.
  2. Bo played every offensive snap. Should we assume we don't have a viable backup QB?
  3. Anybody else wish we had J.T. Tuimoloau?
  4. Is he taking his LDS mission? His older brother Logan Fano, a 2021 four star DL, just completed his and enrolled at BYU in January.
  5. Nice touch to honor her before a game.
  6. As I posted the other day Oregon just offered his four star younger brother. Eli tweeted this on Monday, shortly after Peyton, and quite possibly Eli, would have returned from Eugene.
  7. Oregon State, Utah and Stanford. All three eschew excessive use of the transfer portal and NIL, they build their teams by developing players.
  8. I believe he is rather new to football. For his junior year MaxPreps only lists him playing basketball and his stats were pretty bad. He certainly wouldn't be the first kid that took some time for coordination to catch up with physical size.
  9. Let the board's talent evaluators weigh in. Game Tape WWW.HUDL.COM Game Tape
  10. I realize we are speeding towards a semi-pro situation but doesn't consideration need to given to the academic calendar? Most schools end classes early December with finals the following week. Classes resume roughly 7-10 days into January. Assuming finals week and the first week of classes are not optimal for playoff games doesn't that limit the playoff window?
  11. I quit reading at "Now, USC won’t have to worry about complex tiebreakers when it comes to the Bruins. If they beat them when they meet later in the season, the Trojans will have the edge with one Pac-12 loss to two." The complex tiebreaker is who won head to head. The brilliance of a U$C education, although her bio doesn't say she graduated.
  12. Interesting. I knew about the onside kick but didn't know who the kicker was, certainly didn't know who recovered it. Good info, thanks.
  13. I think that was Andrew Boyle. Probably the best executed onside kick I've ever seen.
  14. According to the Oregon website participation report Cardwell played in the first two games, eleven carries for 76 yards, four receptions for 34. The dilemma for both the coaching staff and player is does he play in two more games. If so which ones?
  15. From a quick internet search I gather Manny Diaz was fairly popular with his players. Since the Diaz firing was dependent on Mario accepting the job I can understand how some players might hold some resentment. Perhaps MC is paying the price for the bumbling's of his wealthy backer.
  16. I always liked Mario and deeply appreciate the quality young men he brought to Eugene but wow. I'm sure there are dumber things to do than starting a feud with the local press, just not any that come to mind right away. Unbelievable.
  17. Pugliano is a 2024 recruit so he is what? 16? 17? Pretty good measurables. AJ Pugliano on Hudl WWW.HUDL.COM Watch AJ Pugliano's videos and highlights on Hudl. More info: North Medford High School - Boys Varsity Football / TE, DE / Class of 2024 / Medford, OR
  18. And just like that Oregon offers his younger brother. Coincidence?
  19. Wild game in Bozeman. Four safeties, a 100 yard KO return, a 91 yard punt return, and involved two top 5 FCS teams. Division I record four safeties push FCS No. 2 Montana State past No. 5 Weber State - Footballscoop FOOTBALLSCOOP.COM Despite four errant punt snaps resulting in safeties, Weber State's special teams were somehow still a net positive on the scoreboard in a truly wild game.
  20. I thought he slid to keep from going out of bounds and stopping the clock. I'll have to watch that again.
  21. Beats me, one possibility... Urban Dictionary: Progrum WWW.URBANDICTIONARY.COM Southern and Appalachian pronunciation of the word program. It is common in college football, which is now dominated by the South and Nick Saban, who is from Appalachia. The likes of Saban and...
  22. The Horseshoe doesn't have Shout. I think any recruit, looking at the crowd and then the players on the sidelines has to think "that looks like fun'.
