A Player I am Surprised That Has NOT Gone Into the Portal...
Hutson is the #2 WR for Oregon for receptions and yards. Seems like it would make sense to stay.

In Case You Didn't Know - OSU Bowl Game Rescheduled
The Pac 12 needs to get better bowls or have them change the dates of the Vegas Bowl and the LA/Jimmy Kimbel bowl. The Pac 12 have two bowl games that start before the early signing period as 2002duck mentioned. This is the time coaches need to make sure their recruits stay with them. Not try to focus on winning a bowl game and keep recruits. The ACC has 1 and the SEC also has 1 bowl game before the early signing period. The Big 12 has 1 bowl game the day after. The ACC/SEC play each other 2 days after. I feel this schedule hurts the Pac 12 in recruiting. December 17th has 6 bowl games. The most of any day, silly to compete with that. December 31st has only 1 bowl game. 2022–23 NCAA football bowl games - Wikipedia EN.WIKIPEDIA.ORG

Canzano: Whirlwind Week Takes Shape in Pac-12
Canzano on his radio show on Monday said he had Caleb Williams and Penix Jr. on his ballot. So, that means he either has Duggan or Stroud as his 3rd vote.

What Makes a Game Meaningful?
It is crazy that the bowl system is a money maker for people outside of the NCAA. Unless, a team is going to a bowl game for the first time and sell a lot of tickets, lesser bowl games are money losers for teams. Remember the conference splits the bowl payout. Bowls require teams to buy a certain amount of tickets and are on the hook for unsold tickets.

Transfer Portal: A Listing of Ducks Who Have Entered
Most of the guys transferring out of Oregon were not getting a lot of playing time. Yes, it stinks we won't have them for the bowl game or have them there for continuation, but if they don't fit the system, they don't fit the system.

Deion is Stirring it Up in Colorado
After watching the video, telling kids to jump in the portal can be taken two ways. Leave, I don't want you hear or I'm here to win and want players with the same motivation.

Oregon Should Play North Carolina in the Pre-Conference and Georgia in a Bowl Game
Perception. SEC schedules cupcakes because the perception is the SEC has the best 14 teams in college football. Their conference play is murders row every week according to the talking heads. Even the computers have a bias towards the SEC. It is truly insane how much everybody and computers think the SEC is so much better than the rest of college football. If it is 8 or 9 it doesn't matter, but every P5 conference should play the same number of conference games.

Where Pac-12 Bowl-Eligible Teams Are Playing/Canzano Article
I have a feeling the Pac 12 will be favored in all games except the Alamo bowl. However, it will really depend on who opts to play or opts to sit out. Ducks have a real good shot of going 7-0, but it wouldn't surprise me if guys sit out and cost the Pac 12 teams to lose a few games.

College Football Playoff - Final 4

Men's Basketball: 12/1/22 WSU @ Ducks...Ducks WIN Pac-12 Opener!
So confused with the basketball schedule this season. Both men and women have conference games, then have 4 or 3 non-conference games, then go back to finish conference games. I wonder if this is going to be the new normal.

Five Star QB Dante Moore Locked In With Oregon
Only 3 OC's or DC's make more than 2 million, highest paid makes 2.5 million. No shot Oregon pays an OC 3 million. Lupoi makes 1.7 mil, but that is because he came from the NFL where he was making a high salary.

Five Star QB Dante Moore Locked In With Oregon
That is a lot of trust Dillingham had in Moore in telling him he was going to take the ASU job, but don't tell anybody about it.

Bo Nix A First Rounder?
I always think it is crazy for teams to reach for a QB. Young and Stroud should be the only 1st round QBs drafted. However, I wouldn't draft them in the top 5. I'm wrong more than 50% of the time, but I don't see either of them being a sure thing.

Season Over--Now Real Work Starts for Coaches
That would be a ton of money. The NFL rookie minimum is over 500,000. So, if a guy makes the team, he is making at least 500,000. 6th and 7th rounders only make a team 30-35% of the time. What percentage of drafted players make an NFL roster? WWW.SPORTSKEEDA.COM Players drafted into the NFL are already facing tough odds to make the NFL roster. There's no guarantee that all of the drafted players will make the team's 53-man roster by the time Week-1 begins. We have seen first-hand plenty of Ducks leave early and not get drafted or get drafted later than they assumed. These kids growing up dreaming of going to the NFL. Even if they are given bad information, when somebody tells them they will get drafted, they listen like it is a given. I think some kids might be persuaded to come back given the right NIL deal, but far fewer than we probably think.

I Thought I Was a Finicky Fan
tOSU fans expect wins vs Michigan. It is crazy. Made the CFP twice and won the Rose Bowl in his 3rd year. Terrible coach? tOSU and Alabama expect Titles or the season is a waste.

It is unfortunate the article didn't mention anything about grad transfers. Kids who graduated college in the past were able to transfer without waiting a year.

CFB Playoff Rankings: Top 25
I'm not a fan of Clemson dropping only 1 spot after losing at home to a previously unranked team. The Ducks drop 7 spots losing on the road to a ranked team. Ducks are where they belong in the rankings, but Clemson certainly doesn't belong at 9.

Dillingham gets a raise from 1 mil to 3.8 mil. Nice to go "home" and get nearly 4 times your salary.

Rose Bowl Leftout of the CFP--Update: Finally Signed With CFB Playoff
Rose Bowl thinks more highly of itself than the rest of the college football world. I wonder how much of the Pac 12 decision making process has rubbed off on the Rose Bowl board of directors? Nobody cares about the rose parade before the game, except the Rose Bowl and some people in Los Angeles. To be so concerned about the game time is silly. They are going to be left out and then what? The B1G TEN isn't going to want to continue playing the game if it isn't a NY6 game. Sources - Rose Bowl given Wednesday deadline for CFP WWW.ESPN.COM The Rose Bowl faces possible exclusion from the expanded College Football Playoff if the bowl can't agree to terms before a Wednesday deadline, sources told ESPN's Heather Dinich.

What Bowl Game Might Oregon Play?
Pac 12 Bowl Games (My prediction for which team will go to the bowl is first in line) Rose Bowl Pac 12 winner (USC/Utah) New year 6 Bowl Top 12 ranking (Washington/USC) Alamo Bowl #2 (Utah/Washington) Holiday Bowl #3 (UO/OSU/UCLA) Vegas Bowl #4/5 (UCLA/OSU/UO) Sun Bowl #4/5 (OSU/UCLA) Los Angeles/Jimmy Kimmel Bowl #6 (WSU) OSU is notorious for being a terrible traveling team, so that is why I have them going to the Sun Bowl. However, maybe the Holiday Bowl goes with the feel-good story and takes them. After the Alamo bowl game, the bowls can choose teams if they are within 1 loss of each other in the Pac 12 standings.
