Here we are my Duck-Buddies, the thread for pondering the actual game as it happens.  Let's discuss before, and during the game!

The vast majority of you are GREAT in this thread, but you must remember that this forum is different, as we require civilized discourse. Discussion of negative is fine, but don't vent on us!

Rule No. 31d covers GameDay Thread Conduct, and it is not hard for the vast majority of us--just a tiny few who need to reign it in when things don't go well for Our Beloved Ducks.

Let's Have Fun Posting During the Game!

WATCH: Vernon Adams Jr. pulls off stunning TD throw to force OT vs. ASU | Fox News

Let's hope it does not take another miracle as in 2015!

Mr. FishDuck

Go Ducks! Hoping TT gets in with the ones and Lanning lets him use the whole play book. Dilly of all people will understand.

I'll check back later, my 7 yo grandson is on youtube playing in his league super bowl.

Nix throws are a little off

Thats a good start. No penalties

The first one was dropped.

Tez sometimes drops the easy ones but makes the harder catches.

Glad to see Bucky and Khyree out there.

Patrick Herbert 2 TDs!

Love the TE screens!!!

Very cool to see Jones and JPJ running out front blocking for Herbert. That was a massive wall of human and I actually felt bad for those ASU defenders for a second….

but only a second lol

That was way too easy. Great to see lineman lead the way all the way to the goal line

Love the way Will is using the TE. Should open it up for the flyers.

Flawless offensive execution.

Oregon showing the entire nation what they can do.

At least Lewis is booming the kickoffs.

Very impressive so far.

Efficiency.

How do you spell it?

Oregon Ducks offense led by Bo!

Ducks at 222 yards. Can they put up 900 on ASU😂

Good to see OBD not fall into a potential trap game. They are firing on all cylinders.

I didn’t like the decision to go for it on 4th down. The defense is playing lights out, you are up by 21…just punt the ball and pin them deep. Don’t give them any momentum.

I can understand that. But the offense is hitting on all cylinders too.

You probably didn't like that call either. I think DL is looking fir a big offensive showing. Style points I guess,

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood!

Just because a play was successful doesn’t mean it was the right decision. It works the other way around too.

According to Dave Bartoo, style points don’t matter. Most of the college football playoff committee members don’t know much more of football as we do and it’s unlikely they watch most of the games.

I imagine they do look at the scores at least. Winning 62-7 looks a lot better than 35-28.

That was the most comically inept tackling I’ve ever seen on Bryant’s TD.

Wow.  Just wow!

Pull Bo and let TT play the rest of the way. Huge opportunities no one saw coming in a Q and a half.

300+ yards passing

5 tds for Nix.

Thats plenty of style for Bo Heisman campain

What's Bo's completion percentage?

Agreed. Let the starters finish the half and then shut every starter down. We have a short week ahead of us for the CW so no need for any extra snaps.

Just over 80%

When your offense tends to look like/break down into backyard football, eventually one of those plays isn't going to turn out well.

This is a good old pounding.

That kind of felt like an effort to reestablish the killer instinct post USC.  Yes, it is a bad ASU team, but good teams do this to bad teams.

Bo Nix is carving up Dillingham’s defensive.

1st half:

22 / 27 (81.5% completion percentage)

381 yards

6 TD passes

0 Interceptions

QB Rating: 273.3

More TDs than incompletions!

Mr. Nix has just put himself head and shoulders  into the lead in the Heisman race!  DL needs to let him sit the second half,  There is nothing left to prove.

That last drive was Lanning telling Bo, "Go take the Heisman my friend". Bo does exactly that.

Or score and you can rest the second half…

Unbelievable!  I am not sure how you can't give that man a little trophy of a player doing s stiff arm!

Is this the defense that held Fusky out of the endzone offensively? In Seattle?

It sounds as if there are a lot of Duck fans in the stands! 🙂

Do you think Dilly knew? He had to of known what was going to happen.

They are certainly have the same logos on the helmets..

This is insane. That is the best half of football I've seen anybody play in a long time.

Why is Bo Nix in for the second half? This screams unnecessary injury risk to me.

Starters should be sitting. Lots of players are banged up and could use some rest.

Probably to finish out that “middle 8”. He'll probably come out after this possession.
