Posted October 12, 2024Oct 12 Administrator Here we are my Duck-Buddies, the thread for pondering the actual game as it happens. Let's discuss before, and during the game! The vast majority of you are GREAT in this thread, but you must remember that this forum is different, as we require civilized discourse. Discussion of negative is fine, but don't vent on us! Rule No. 31d covers GameDay Thread Conduct, and it is not hard for the vast majority of us--just a tiny few who need to reign it in when things don't go well for Our Beloved Ducks. Let's Have Fun Posting During the Game! Mr. FishDuck
October 12, 2024Oct 12 Moderator What a day! Roster has me nervous but does that give one of these young 4/5 stars a chance to shine? We'll see.
October 12, 2024Oct 12 Author Administrator My Duck-Buddies....USC had egregious pass-interference committed against them TWICE in their last series. The B1G officials refuse to call it, even when it is right in front of them. Why have rules then? Mr. FishDuck
October 12, 2024Oct 12 Let's all be grateful to be relevant and having college game day at our campus. Let's enjoy the game for what it is, win or lose there should be some rare, phenomenal displays of talent from both teams. Go Ducks, make us proud!

Expect tOSU to get the vast majority of the debatable calls going their way as the crowned jewel of the legacy B1G this year.

October 12, 2024Oct 12 Gonna be tough to beat tOSU and the refs together. If they reviewed it and gave it to him? Maybe. Not even reviewing it is extremely poor. One is bad, the other concerning.
October 12, 2024Oct 12 That is absolutely outrageous they didn't review that, absolute things I can't say on this site, it's clear bias
October 12, 2024Oct 12 I expected refs to give the benefit of doubt to tOSU, but seeing it in real time....ugh!
October 12, 2024Oct 12 FYI, the NBC official expert said he thought it was an interception. Edited October 12, 2024Oct 12 by OregonDucks
October 12, 2024Oct 12 Remember folks... This is NOT an elimination game. We just all want to see better effort out of the Ducks right now..

October 13, 2024Oct 13 Really? Really? we botch the hold, come on guys, we can't afford that. Great response to the interception that wasn't.

October 13, 2024Oct 13 And Ohio State fans were saying all week that Autzen is too small to be truly loud.
October 13, 2024Oct 13 Why do we do this sort of stuff! It's completely unneeded, stop getting cute!!!!

October 13, 2024Oct 13 Will Stein is not a good OC, critical third down, he goes with a trick play, it's just not sound football, completely shifts the momentum
October 13, 2024Oct 13 Gabriel gotta read better..my gawd and Im so sick we cannot find a freakin kicker. sheesh

We're former Pac-12 fans. We are used to the refs throwing a flag of the defender breathes funny on a receiver. There should be a happy middle ground between the two... But there isn't..
October 13, 2024Oct 13 Wow. I don’t even know what to say. I thought the Pac-12 refs were bad…… and Holden was WIDE OPEN. Ugh. Too many mistake. Edited October 13, 2024Oct 13 by GeotechDuck

Except the TV announcers are also saying that Ohio State is getting away with PI. It’s not just Oregon/Pac-12 fans noticing.

It's clear the B1G is going to pick and choose when to call certain things, we see it in the ACC, let's not think the league doesn't tell their refs to protect certain teams.
