I live in the beautiful sunny tropical of Tualatin Or. I did live in DC for several years and I know what its like to shovel 18 inches of snow.

Read today that Bo's prognosis is 12 week recovery. We'll see.

Current temp for me is 46 degrees, no snow, but have been checking web cams for locations of friends from Kentucky on the south to upper NY. Conditions for ice making their lives miserable.

I'm in San Diego and usually this time of year it gets cold and wet enough a few times for there to be snow up at 4k ft and above, but nothing this year.

We aren't immune to some really rainy storms, but that tends to happen when it's El Nino. With La Nina it's been very dry, and I think this storm system just looped above southern California.

Bo Nix is out 12 weeks for a broken ankle? That doesn't sound good. I always remember people saying it's usually better to break an ankle than sprain it as a break is usual 6-8 weeks. Bo Broke his ankle once in college and once in high school. Sean Payton said he wouldn't have drafted him if he knew about the ankle issue, and nobody was sure if he was joking or serious.

Portland, OR is fine... But we can tell there is a big winter storm because the gorge winds from the east are cold which means the continental weather systems are COLD.

But I'm happy to not be in the massive winter onslaught.

Balmy and zero snow (essentially all year so far) in Salt Lake. So much for my $1,000 ski pass. I wish the storm would hit us.

That is the worst…you can’t walk outside without slipping, and my back hurts just thinking about it!

Seattle's not bad, sunny during the day but it freezes at night so I have to salt my driveway and doorsteps every couple days.

It's going to be a little bit chilly for us today -- about 71° for a high.

It's actually a frigid 37° this morning, but with the wind chill, it's down all the way to 35°.

Mid-morning temperatures are right around 48 degrees way down here in South Georgia. We are going to have a low tonight neighboring somewhere around 22 degrees! That’s getting pretty cold for this neck of the woods! No snow in the forecast though, snow is very rare this far south. Although we surprisingly had a few days last winter that dropped about 10” on us and it stayed cold enough for it to build up and stay awhile. You wouldn’t believe the chaos that it caused for people down here.😂 Folks down here just don’t know a thing about dealing with snow. Seriously, just driving around at that time was quite the challenge for many of my neighbors!😂

I’m not minding it so much, I sometimes miss the cold weather. I lived and worked in Canada for years so cold weather is something that I’m very familiar with. I even miss the snow sometimes, except for the shoveling and cleaning it off of my truck every morning.

What I don’t miss is the ice! I had no idea all of the troubles that an ice storm can bring with it, heck I’d never even much heard of an ice storm. I was educated during my first winter in Canada! Luckily I moved up there in the Spring and had made some friends before that first winter. My new friends took me under their wing that first winter, otherwise I would not have been prepared or known at all what to expect. It was one of those things that literally goes along with the saying “you just don’t know what you don’t know”.

Friend in Virginia has 4-6", but it briefly rained, forming a slick crust of ice... his front door is on a slight incline from where his car is parked.

Just to the north and west of KCMO, its chilly, i think the high today is 22, but it was -7 yesterday. Got about 4 inches of snow, otherwise it isn't too bad, But i did live in Alaska for 14 years, so...i might be the odd duck here that likes this...

The high Monday was 11° where I live in Indiana. From the ground to the porch is 30" ... solid snow

My home town in CT has anywhere from 11"-17" of snow, depending on how close/far from the water (LI Sound).

Dallas cold and icy. Brutal NW winds but improving. Hopefully melted by thursday!!!

Here in Minden, NV (near Carson City), it has been the mildest winter of the 10 years I've been here. The house is at 4800 feet but has had one-quarter inch of snow all Winter. It is chilly with highs of 40-50 degrees but mostly sunny. I have three nearly 11,000 foot Sierra Nevada peaks out my front window that are snow-covered however.

My bestie, who lives outside of Boston, has had 30 inches of snow with below zero wind chills the past couple nights. I know this native Californian is missing his old Santa Cruz County home these days, poor devil.

This morning's temperature in NW New Jersey is 4 degrees. Here are the forecast lows thru Sunday (yes, lots of snow on the ground with these temperatures will not melt anytime soon).

Thursday - -2 degrees

Friday - -1 degrees

Saturday - 0 degrees

Sunday - 6 degrees

But the highs are better, we get a whopping 20 degree one day, the rest in the teens. Wind chill factors always can make it feel colder, but at this moment no wind today. 🥶 Phew!

Im in Washington DC.. justnlike most East Coast people our snow is now ice with now signs of melting anytime soon. Just terrible.

New Providence and Metuchen are about 43 miles South East of where I live. I live in the Warren County area.

Around 20 years ago, I had to travel to Minneapolis on business, in the immediate aftermath of a huge winter storm.

The day I stepped off the plane, there was a wind chill factor of more than 25 below zero.

Parking lots in the area had mostly been plowed, but the piles of snow were higher than the car I rented.

3 days into my stay, I had to cross into Wisconsin, along the banks of the upper Mississippi, which was frozen to the point people were racing 4×4 pickups on the ice.

I'm happy living in the Willamette Valley!

Here on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, 6 inches of snow, then two inches of sleet, then an inch of freezing rain. You can't walk on top of the snow, too slippery, hard to clear sidewalks, driveways and get cars out. We're hunkered down safe and warm inside though (not wanting to see our next electric bill). Other than that, a nice unexpected vacation.
